I would like to recognize the outstanding care and professionalism shown by Mrs. Armelle, the Pharmacy Manager at the CVS Pharmacy located at 13320 Laurel Bowie Road. On May 8, 2026, I received a call from Mrs. Armelle checking on my well-being after a recent change in my medication. She explained that she knew I had been taking the medication for about a week and wanted to see how I was doing. During our conversation, I informed her that I was experiencing serious side effects, including dizziness and feeling light-headed. Mrs. Armelle immediately advised me to contact my doctor for further instructions. I am extremely grateful that she took the time to reach out. Her concern and attention to my health may have prevented a much more serious situation. In today's world, this level of kindness, compassion, and dedication to patient care is rare. It meant a great deal to me and reminded me that there are still healthcare professionals who truly care about their patients. We need more pharmacists like Mrs. Armelle. Thank you, Mrs. Armelle, for going above and beyond. Your kindness, professionalism, and genuine concern for your patients make a real difference.

Things were good for a long time. However, over the last 6 months or so, I've had a hard time getting my prescriptions filled--whenever I have multiple prescriptions to fill, it seems there is always one or two that doesn't get filled. However, when I show up to pick up my prescriptions, they are able to fill the missing one(s) so I don't understand why they weren't able to fill them before I arrived to pick them up other than they are being put on hold and forgotten. I asked about the issue and was pretty much told it was my fault because I should be notified when there is a problem, and I'm not being notified. The staff are rude when there is a problem and there is no effort to provide any degree of customer service when trying to address problems. The general attitude of their staff is, "It's not my problem, so I don't care."

First of all, the AI generated automated system that answers the phone is a total joke. It's terribly frustrating to use. It did not give me the option to speak to the pharmacist or to even leave a message...it just got stuck in a loop saying, "I can't help you with that , is there anything else I can help you with?" It also gave incorrect information saying I have no prescriptions available when in fact I did. After som finagaling, I was able to get through and I got the most unhinged and unprofessional "doctors" (the pharmacist on duty) I've ever dealt with. His name is Ashraf Awawdeh. This person should be fired and his license should be revoked. He answered the phone angrily...literally yelling at me saying " I'm really busy" to which I replied: " I don't care about that...I care about getting my needed prescription that is nearly out. This unprofessional guy then said, "Well if you don't care..." and hung up on me! So I drove to the store and was outraged at this man's unhinged and angry demeanor. He literally said "Who the f*uck do you think you are telling me how to do my job." We go into an argument and he actually threatened me saying " I have all your information and I know where you live." Needless to say I've filed a formal complaint with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy and with CVS corporate. Hopefully they will do the right thing and fire this person. I just wanted to warn the public to stay away from this particular pharmacy!

The CVS app is not reliable and does not always give you accurate information about your prescriptions. Do not trust it for accurate refill dates. Just get on the phone and call the pharmacy.

Today at CVS the worker/cashier was really rude to me. I showed her my phone so she could see my rewards and she told me that my phone was wrong, and that I needed to go outside (!) because I was getting bad phone signal. I wasn't, I was using the app while I was in the store. She shouted, she called me a tweaker, then she refused to complete the sale. I left.

The CVS.com website "claimed" to have the product I wanted. A 6 ounce tube of a specific body lotion. When I received my order confirmation, the photo in the email of my order showed a PHOTO OF THE 6 OUNCE TUBE of lotion. Something told me to go back into my account to confirm this. When I did, CVS CHANGED MY ORDER TO A DIFFERENT 13 OUNCE PUMP BOTTLE of lotion THAT I DID NOT ORDER. Trying to reach a real person to talk to was not good. When I got a foreign speaking representative, I was told that they could not cancel my order and I would have to deal with mailing it back to them and I would have to go through the trouble of calling back to speak to a real person, again, and explain to them AGAIN, why I was sending the product back. Are you kidding me??? I'm so done!

I love my CVS store and pharmacy at Folsom, Madison Ave, CA. The staff is absolutely wonderful. They are caring and quick and alway treat people with respect

I walked into the CVS she did not have a name tag on, so I could not get her name. I asked if she can help me pay my extra care from the register. She explained that there was no way to get it done over the counter. That is when I asked her if it was possible to do it on my phone. She just looked at me strangely as if it was not my account. I said it was ok, I will figure it out myself. I stepped outside the store and went through my app, figuring it out on my own. Then as I returned back into the store it was as if they were now checking my every move. Soooo Rude, I just felt discriminated all the way around.
