CVS continues to provide weak customer service. This chain is overextended in every store I’ve been in. As such you can’t get aisle help easily, pharmacy is overworked, slow and outright rude. Not the CVS I loved 10-15 years ago.

Great pharmacist
Mr G. Flores is the pharmacist at my local CVS and he is great. I appreciate that he takes the time to listen and answer my questions. To save me money, he gave me a discount code. My only issue with this location is the very long waiting in line.

A Clinic in How Not to Run a Business
CVS has perfected the art of wasting people’s time. Their phone app doesn’t work, their telephone system doesn’t work, and every attempt to get something as simple as a prescription refill turns into a pointless, infuriating slog. It’s the same tired corporate nonsense you see from every giant chain that pretends to care about customers while running everything into the ground.
The app crashes, freezes, logs you out, refuses to load prescriptions, and half the time acts like you don’t even exist in their system. And when you try to call the pharmacy? Good luck. Their automated phone tree is a black hole of incompetence—menus that loop, options that don’t work, transfers that go nowhere, and hold times that feel like punishment for daring to need medication.
This isn’t a one‑off glitch. This is systemic failure, baked into the way CVS operates. They’ve become the poster child for a company that’s too lazy to fix anything, too cheap to invest in functioning systems, and too indifferent to notice how much business they lose because of it. They’ve turned basic pharmacy tasks into a circus of errors, delays, and dead ends.
Every interaction feels like a reminder that CVS is running on autopilot—no accountability, no urgency, no pride in the service they provide. Just a giant corporation coasting on its size while delivering the bare minimum and calling it a day. They’re not just dropping the ball; they’ve lost the ball, blamed the customer, and then closed the department that used to handle balls.
If you want a pharmacy that actually works, look elsewhere. CVS has made it painfully clear that customer experience isn’t even on their radar anymore.

3 cars were vandalized in parking lot of CVS
On a Saturday morning 8 am in the store less than 10 minutes and when came out of the store our side passenger mirror was hanging down broken on our pur 2024 Teluride. I read reviews and CVS comments were contact directly public relations well I did and was given a claim number but never have heard back. I think you need more cameras and maybe security in parking lot if it is high risk to have your car damaged while shopping in your store!

Self-checkout experience is very annoying!
The design and function of the self-checkout stations is quite annoying. The height of the units appear to be good for short folks and people in wheelchairs and disability access is a good thing! But for average-height and taller people, it is quite uncomfortable to hunched over to use the system. The system (at least in my local area) has difficulty in sensing very lightweight items like a greeting card or pack of dental picks. That fact triggers a message on the pop-up screen to skip bagging, but what would happen next when you have more items, heavier items? What prompt would pop-up next requiring an over-ride of some kind? I had difficulty trying to identify how to use a CVS brand coupon at check-out, so I tapped the help button on screen to call for an attendant. It was probably over a minute and an attendant still hadn't come over and by then the screen had another prompt to 'cancel' the request for assistance! Why should a customer cancel a request for help when help hadn't yet arrived? There was no option to touch the screen to indicate that help was still needed! After looking around and seeing that nobody was immediately available, I gave the bag with merchandise to an employee nearby and left without completing the transaction. The only reason that a 2-star rating was assigned is because the store was rather clean and tidy and there was at least one employee in the area nearby.
