I have never seen such a cluster as CVS pharmacy. I went to the Hartville pharmacy to pick up my 79 y/o mom's pain medicine that was sent in by her Dr on May 22nd to be picked up on the 24th. By the 26th they still didn't have it in stock so I had the Dr call it into the Mogadore location. They received the script at 3:30pm and I tried to pick it up at 4:30. They said it will be a 2 hour wait so I parked in the parking lot in front of the pick up window. At 6:30 I pulled back up to the window and the girl tried to state they just got the script. I said no you did not I have been in the parking lot for 2 hours waiting. She then states "well there is only 1 person there who can count" soI asked how much longer and she says another 45 minutes. So we will see if it is ready or not as I sit in the parking lot in front of the pick up window. I was not driving 45 minutes each way to pick up her scripts. Mean while she has been in pain for 2 days waiting for CVS to locate somewhere that had her meds that they knew she needed 4 days ago. Needless to say this is the last script of hers that will be filled at CVS!!!

On 5/18/26 I went to CVS Old Buncombe Rd. Greenville Sc to pick up my prescriptions and my son's prescriptions. The associate assisted me. He gave me the prescriptions after he scanned them in. They were stapled together. I paid for them and went to my car and began checking them. I noticed that there was a medication that I didn't recognize my son being prescribed. It was stapled in the middle of 2 other meds. I was about to call his provider to see if they had ordered a medication that the did not discuss with me. That's when I noticed that the medication in the middle had someone else's name. I immediately drove to the drive thru and gave the medication back and explained that the one in the middle was the wrong medication. I told the associate that I did not receive his Trazadone. They told me that I had picked the Trazadone up on the 14th. I told them that I did not pick anything up on the 14th. I had not been there ant other time that week. The manager immediately asked me where is the Trazadone? I told her that I never received it. She said you signed for it today. First of all,I signed for the Medications that were handed to me. I did not know that I was given the wrong medication. I felt like the fact that the medication was given to me instead of McWhite instead of McDowell should have been concerning, especially to the manager who is the Pharmacist. I felt that I was being interrogated for bringing this to the store's attention. And this has been a breach of trust as far as I am concerned. The Pharmacist promised to "fill his medication at no cost" CVS already charged his insurance for something he did not receive. When I went back to pick up his medication , it had never been filled. I work as a nurse in long term care. I do pay attention to medications. Maybe his medication went to someone that did not pay attention. It could be disastrous. I was just bringing to their attention that my son, who is special needs, had the wrong medication. I just wanted it corrected.

New monitors in the pharmacy requires me to input my information before being served. Never mind all the sick people who have also had to touch these monitors before me. Have been dissatisfied with CVS for years. This is the last straw. Will be moving on from CVS.

The problems with CVS first of all they are very slow and frequent mistkes filling prescriptions with old one or changes. When you go to a pharmacy you trust them to make sure you have what you actually need. They say the doctor should put change in I say the the pharmacist is your second defense to double check to insure your medication is correct. Now because of there limited staffing these important steps are missed which could prove fatal if not caught in time.

I'm giving 1 ★ because that's as low as you can go. Otherwise it would be -★★★★★ I go on line and it says something is in stock. I get there and it's not. This has happened multiple times. While there, I was going to get Listerine. A small 8.5oz that is OTC is $5.29 The larger bottle 16.9oz that 𝐈𝐒 𝐍𝐎𝐓 𝐎𝐓𝐂 cost $9.49 I will have to buy two 8.5oz bottles at $10.58 which is $1.09 more to use my insurance card. I refuse to do that. I will spend out of pocket at Walgreens before I do that. They have much more quantities that are OTC that are in stock!!

When you call for customer service you end up in another country with people that don’t understand medical terminology. I see why they get crap reviews. Nothing will change until it starts losing them money.

Local staff is friendly and helpful so most of the score goes to them. I’ve been to stores in other states and the staff is just plain rude. The other problem I have with the overall company is that they constantly text to refill meds. At one point I had 90 days left and they were sending me more texts to fill. That has gotten better lately but I still don’t like the way they just won’t leave you alone. All I want to know is my script is ready. I’ll pick it up when I can. Don’t pester me
