Crunch is a scam. They attempt to strong arm their customers but not giving manager names and not making it easy to cancel memberships. They force customer to come in person and cancel. They make it very difficult because thy want to keep charging you. You can sign for a 30-yr mortgage over docu-sign but ou cannot cancel a stupid gym membership.

By far the worst experience to cancel. I moved cities back in July, and the city in which I moved to does not have a crunch gym. While in the process of moving it totally slips my mind to cancel. I call and they say that I was getting charged FOR 2 MEMBERSHIPS!!! Im shocked and still ask to cancel. I look at my bank account today and get charged 86 effing dollars in September and 32 in October because the nitwit at the desk didn't cancel my membership after telling him my situation. So I am out $118 as a college student and cannot get a refund. I tried calling the corporate number and get hung up on? DO NOT SIGN WITH CRUNCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I go the Crunch in Lancaster PA. They collect the maintenance fee each year, but repairs are slow or not done at all. I sent the following note to the manager asking about the maintenance on 09/25/2023, as of today 10/02/2023, no response. "Hello Sean Schmoyer, I am writing because of my concern of the out of service amenities currently at the gym. My wife and I have been members since the gym opened. I have shared my concerns after we were charged the annual maintenance fee $59.99 x 2 = $119.98 for both of us. Today 09/25/2023 I saw tanning room 7 is out of order. Currently 1.Tanning room 7 is out of order 2. Tanning room 5 is still out of order, I think this is close to 1 year 3. Stand up Tanning room 6 bulbs missing, 5 additional bulbs don't light 4. Zero gravity bed has been out of order well over 1 year 5. Massage bed 1 out of order for many months. I understand that repairs take time, but in this case, it appears they are completely neglected. I am estimating the gym has approx 4,000 members, each charged $59.99 maintenance fee = approx $239,960.00 in maintenance fees in addition to the monthly fee. This was a beautiful well-maintained gym. With each passing month the condition worsens. I am hoping you can provide an explanation why no response is ever given and if this is the business plan for the Lancaster Crunch, collect fees without maintaining the gym. Please advise"

I attended my Crunch gym in Oakland Park Florida. As I always do, I do a lot of cardio in the gym which involves a lot of walking, not all of it being on the treadmills. I have done this for quite some time, and have a route/routine that I do. Every morning Crunch wants to run some type of class back in the back of the gym and block its members from doing their workout in that area, which is clearly supposed to be for all gym fitness customers, especially me, as I pay a primo monthly price for a membership. Today I was told that I could not go back in the area because they were having their class, and it was too dangerous for me to be back there. If you're having a class that is too dangerous for people to be back in the area while you're having class, then perhaps that class is too dangerous to have in the 1st place. Secondly, if if is that dangerous for me to be back there, then perhaps the class should be moved to your cardio/step area, where it is secluded and not in the way of other Crunch members who are being denied use of part of the gym. This was all attributed to Ty and GM Stephanie. Ty ultimately spreads out his classes workout area, intentionally, so that other people cannot get into the area, except for the heavy weights, which for some reason people are allowed in to that area. This class normally lasts an hour, but for some reason today, Ty extended it for 2 hours. Crunch certainly has the right to have classes for it's members, but they certainly do not have the right to restrict access of their other members, while they discriminate against the rest of the Crunch members who are there trying to do their workout routine. Please address this situation. You do not have the right to kick me out of an area, especially when I pay a top price to be at the fitness club!

There is a transgender male wanna be female that enters the Womens restroom which women get undressed and shower meanwhile he’s in there! I feel very disgusted knowing there’s a man in the restroom while I shower! I’ve tried to go to corporate but no response! I’ve told the manager and he said not to saying anything!

I went to Crunch Fitness in Johns Creek location, and the manager was rude, didn't understand the situation for an expired credit card, and charging a late fee for one day miss. He was just arguing and lecturing on the policies, and they never reached out for an expired card.

The Crunch Fitness in the Tampa Palms area has personal trainers that take advantage of college students. They sign them up for training, and that money keeps coming out of your account. It does not matter if you try to call and cancel it. They will not do it. Even when you go to sign a form to cancel it, they will not do it. Do not trust them.

If you want to get covid-19, & you have health issues this is the gym to go too.🤗
