Avoid crunch fitness South Tampa at all costs. I canceled my membership in writing as requested. My balance was zero and a year later I come to find out they put a $118 collection on my credit port. I’ve never had a collection in my life that’s 30 years of credit worthiness taken down 100 points because of a measly $118 collection by these scam artists my advice is avoid this business at all cost. They will not return phone calls. They will not even take my $118 anymore. They run a total scam.

This place is the WORST. I signed up by phone in August (first mistake) with the General Manager before the gym construction was even finished. The gym had several delays being completed and did not open until the last week of December 2024. I complained several times about delays and got emails back saying that, oh, we will cancel your contract during the second month if you are unhappy, etc. Since then, between weather, illness and my husband having surgery, I have not used the gym and told the GM why. After repeated emails, crickets. I emailed corporate. Crickets. I texted the GM after realizing I still had his number from August. He answered and said he would cancel. I asked him to confirm the next day (which was two days ago). Crickets. I wish I would have done that in the first place. I am still trying to get confirmation of a cancellation but I am also sending a formal complaint to the BBB. Do your due diligence with this place.

I just moved out from NY and wanted to try a free trial. The “manager” a brunette young guy with earrings said no we can’t let u in with a NY driving license you have to pay for it 10-16$. Why should I?! That’s just a type of document they want to have but if I would have my membership noone would care and know that I would still be with my NY driving license and everything would be fine. Acted werid and made a big deal like let me get in. It wasn’t the first time I tried a gym here in FL. They said the same thing and allowed me. Just not professional!!!

Horrible company! Never use them. You will cancell your memebership, but they will just say, Idont have it. You will forward your cancellation confirmation, but they will still tell you it doesnt matter. But you can cancell today or keep recurring charges, forget about earlier cancellation. You go ahead and cancell again, but they will keep charging you. Is it legal to run business like this? Absolute frauds!

The company has been bought out by another company and the policies are terrible. If you want to downgrade your membership There is a $49 fee. If the payment doesn’t go through the first time for your monthly Membership payment they charge late fees $15. I’m having some difficulties this month because of the slow business and they would not work with me at all. It’s all about the corporation with them. They could not even issue a refund when they overcharged me unless they talk to the corporation. The manager’s hands are tied. I realize that. It’s just the corporation owners that are bad. It leads to impersonal customer service. Other than What I mentioned above, I’ve enjoyed using Crunch. I am withdrawing my membership now. They will not get another dime out of me

SCAMM i signed a contract for 3 months and they said , ohh sign here to confirm the terms. then is impossible to cancel It was taking $128 pr month TOTALLY SCAM

Crunch Fitness Medford I had an unpleasant experience with the general manager at Crunch Fitness Medford that I feel compelled to share. Last night, I walked in with my 13-year-old son and informed the staff that I needed to sign a guest waiver for him. However, before filling out the waiver, I went to the locker (literally 5 feet away) to put my belongings away so I could have my hands free to help him with the process. When I returned, I was scolded like a child by the general manager. They accused me of not following rules and policies, raised their voice, and even suggested that I should “leave my house earlier” to avoid being in a rush. The tone and attitude were completely unnecessary and unprofessional. I understand the importance of rules and policies, but this situation could have been handled much better. Instead of talking down to me and raising their voice, a respectful reminder or clarification would have been sufficient. Upper management should lead by example, and this interaction left me feeling disrespected and frustrated. Overall, this interaction left a bad impression of the management team at Crunch Fitness Medford. I hope the staff receives training on how to communicate with members in a professional and respectful manner.

Terrible business in Murfreesboro Tennessee. Over charge, then double charge, try to cancel and was verbally attacked by employee in front of his manager and they were no help at all. It was terrible and embarrassing. Stay away from the crooks-the reviews don't lie.
