Very disappointed will not order again. Very long delivery - tried to cancel due to delay, was informed could not cancel. On returns - Customer is responsible for return shipping cost. Lack Customer focus. There are so many great skin care company options that provide better service. Many poor reviews on line about City Beauty.

I placed an. order for a product on 2/16. I saw, on 2/19, that my cc was charged. By 2/29, I had not received the product, nor been advised as to what was happening with the order. I sent an email inquiring about the situation, and they did respond saying that the product was out of stock but was expected to ship at the beginning of April. Very bad business practice in charging cc before sending product, and also not advising customer that they have no product on hand.

I purchased the city lips, does absolutely nothing other than give my lips a shine and a very strong tingling feeling, really was a waste of money and certainly no plump lips.

I know that I didn't order their product Uplift Firming serum< I told them that I would be sending it back right away but that I had to open the box to put the paper work that they sent me in it.. I wasn't even going to open the box but , I wasn't sure what was in the box so, now i have to pay t send it back. I am not happy at all with that process.

Try to order 1 City Beauty Li e Blurring. The order is overlaid by order of 2 its impossible to order just one then you are charged shipping. Not risking it again.

There are several things I dislike about this company but after voicing my complaints I was issued a full refund. On that basis I give them 3 stars for giving me my money back.

I placed my order with City Beauty on Feb. 8. My cc was charged on Feb 9. As of Feb 29, I have still not received confirmation of shipment or a legitimate reason for delay. My cc should have never been charged until product is shipped. I wish i had read reviews here first before submitting my order. Looks like others are having the same experience. Needless to say, I can not review the product itself. Update to this review (03/01/24) City Beauty reached out through email to explain that due to the popularity of their product it was out of stock & they should be shipping by the end of March & they would refund my $$. This was sufficient for me.

So two stars because this is a very nice lipgloss. If it was a tenner in Superdrug, I’d be a regular buyer, but it doesn’t plump, it doesn’t reduce lip lines and it doesn’t make lips even just look fuller beyond what a 3 quid gloss does. The claims are hugely misleading and inflated. I can only imagine that good reviews come from people who, never in their lives, have used even a smear of Vaseline on their lips. For over 40 quid I actually feel like I’ve been mugged!
