Choice hotels sent an email offer and I complied with all the requirements of the offer and then didn't receive the offer. I called and talked to an employee named Julie, before my trip, and was assured I would receive the offer and was given a ticket # , just in case I had any problem. After many phone calls and plenty of my time, this still hasn't been resolved. This is completely unacceptable and is bad business. I have never experienced such poor customer relations in all my years of traveling.

Made a reservation using a combination of my points and cash. I canceled the reservation way within the allowable period. I have not been refunded my cash , instead they refunded it in a form of points which I was not and am not interested in. When I called them and spoke to an agent I was told that although the reservation was " cancellable " it was not " refundable " This is nothing less than outrageous! I will pursue this in any legal form available and WILL NEVER stay in any of this bottom of the barrel chain of hotels ever again!

We stayed at Comfort Inn & Suites in Greenville, Illinois on June 5, 2021. I was extremely impressed with the manager, Shean Fasih, who checked us in on the 5th and checked us out on the 6th. He was very efficient and polite. I could tell he really cares about this motel and its employees. Our society needs more hard-working, dedicated young people like Shean!

My entire stay was unpleasant from beginning to end. Upon check in, I discovered that someone used the toilet in my room prior to my arrival and left it un-clean. I flushed the toilet because of the residue and it overflowed. I contacted the office and it took three hours before I received a plunger. I proceeded to plunge the toilet myself because the General Manager told the front desk clerk to do it, but she was busy with a front office full of people to check in. Afterward, I asked for the bathroom to be clean because of the overflowing toilet (given the pandemic that would have been the appropriate thing to do) a young man came in sprayed inside the toilet and on the floor, but did not clean or wipe anything. He stated, "There are no housekeeping staff on duty". I reached out to the GM, Randy Gould and asked for a different room, he stated there were no more rooms available, so I asked Mr. Gould to "compensate" my room because of the unclean/unsafe bathroom, Mr. Gould said, "no, you can leave and I will cancel and refund you your money". I explained that I had three other rooms and my entire party would have to leave. Mr. Gould did not care about the inconvenience to me or my other guest. Later I discovered the other rooms I rented had issues such as "blood on the wall, mold in the shower, peeling paint and a busted door frame". Additionally, the internet was down and had been for over three months. The ice machines were leaking. The laundry room literally had garbage thrown about and the pool had debris along the bottom. Due to all of these conditions, my entire party (6 adults and 6 children) were afraid to eat the “free” breakfast. I would never stay at this hotel again and would discourage anyone else.

WT F is wrong with this fuc....g hotels? I made a reservation, nobody was at the desk front, I was calling the hotel for 1 hour and 45 minutes. I did call to all customer support numbers and their answer was let me try, I was holding online for 30 minutes they did hang up on me, I did call them back and they did say oh there are not redunds, they did try to call to the hotel and 25 minutes later someone was already at the front desk with the excuse "I was around doing some errands" and the agent said now you can check in so WT F is wrong with this people, playing with my time and money!

We have stayed at 3 different Choice Hotels, in 3 different cities in the last 10 days. One was worse than the next!!! This has been a horrible experience. We have stayed with choice many times in the past and had pretty decent experiences, not this time. We will NEVER stay at a choice hotel again!!

I had a confirmed reservation at a Sleep Inn. I arrived at 1130 PM on Friday night with my family to discover the property was closed. Upon further research I learned the hotel has been shut down for 13 months! All other chains in the town were fully booked that night and Choice’s solution was to put me in a Quality Inn at a higher price. After five calls to customer service I’m told all they can do is add a few thousand loyalty points to my account. I am a Diamond member of Choice Privileges and this is the best they will do. I will be cashing in the points on my account for gift cards and NEVER staying at one of their properties again. I cannot believe they booked me into an abandoned hotel and their solution was to try to charge me more to stay at a different hotel in the same chain. Pitiful!

Terrible customer service, you call you speak with someone out of the country and they are no help at all. Use Bonvoy or another hotel chain, they're terrible. I had a terrible stay at a hotel and NOTHING can be done about it, WOWWW
