When we went to check into the Comfort Inn in Brunswick, Maine, we discovered that Trip Advisor had never submitted our reservation and that the hotel was full. Thankfully, we were able to verify that we had already paid for the room through Trip Advisor and the desk clerk gave us a room that had the hotel had set aside for such emergencies. The clerk was really kind and helpful and told us not to worry because she would fight with trip advisor on our behalf. She saved us from a totally ruined vacation that may have required us to sleep in our car for 2 nights. I'm sorry I forgot to get her name to include in this review.

I participated in the promotion for booking 2 nights to redeem a $50 Amazon Gift Card. I actually booked more than 4 nights during my cross country road trip. I never received the $50 Amazon Gift Card. The first time I called was a few weeks after the redemption. The customer service rep told me it takes 4 to 6 weeks for the card to the delivered. I called back today after more than 6 weeks, the new customer service rep told me the redemption department told him the card was delivered within a week of the redemption and the $50 Amazon Gift Card has already been redeemed and was not able to provide a tracking number for the mail. I told him that was impossible since nobody can steal my mail. My mail slot goes directly into my house. He said there was nothing more he can do. I ended the call telling him they just lost a big customer to their Choice Hotels chain due to this SCAM!!!

We recently walked into the comfort inn & suites on Franklin drive in Washington Pennsylvania. It was not the hotel that we had booked our reservation for. Larissa, the desk clerk suggested that since we had parked and brought all our luggage in, to call the reservations number and have our reservation moved to their hotel, since they had a room. I couldn't get through to reservations in a timely fashion, so she use the hotel phone and put it on speaker so that we could try to get through quicker. After 10 minutes of waiting we decided that we would drive down the road to the hotel where our reservations were at. She gave us very thorough and accurate directions. She has a great personality and is in the perfect job to deal with the public. So many people would not be as conscientious or so willing to help. If you are in that area I highly recommend staying at their hotel. I contacted the hotel manager so that he would know what kind of great employee he had in Larissa. She is a real asset to the hotel!

They charged me double for a room. I stayed there May 2021 at $107 per night. I went out of town on in Aug 2021 and was quoted the same price. The jerk who took the registration ask how many people. One...me. He then said you will have one king bed. Fine. I verified the charge at the hotel location. Upon receiving charge card statement it was double for two nights! They are trying to give me points instead of my money back. Stating they cannot credit my account!!! Yes they can! I'm contacting the CEO. I won't stop and let them keep my money! DO NOT USE CHOICE HOTELS. Rooms aren't even worth what they charge little lone double!

I Timothy have stayed at the Quality inn in Shreveport an the lady Sharon Elie is very nice every time I go there she keeps a smile on her face I love when she’s working front desk cause she know her job as long as she’s there I’ll go there anyway keep up the good work

Choice Hotel mainstay in Auburn Hills completely awful. The facility was absolutely filthy, the second floor stunk of the stench of marijuana 24/7 including in the evening with the haze of marijuana. The hallways were all Filthy and unvacuumed. We are giving a room that not only wasn't clean the dishwasher was full of dirty dishes there was hair in the sink there's toenail clippings around the garbage can the counters had been not been wiped off and obviously the hotel did not sanitize the room. We never saw housekeeping when we were there. The hotel staff was somewhere around the corner behind the desk in another room. I saw Hotel staff, women on two separate occasions that was it. One was when I ask for extra towels and the person seemed annoyed and put out. When she brought out the towels, put on a fake smile and acted Pleasant. Nobody watched the front door anybody could come and go as they wanted. And contact in the hotel manager Matt McCullough he's absolutely and holy unconcerned with the unsanitary conditions of the hotel. When asked for a refund he blamed us for the conditions of the hotel that we should have checked out or told the staff,whom, was well aware of these conditions after we had spent the day at a memorial for a family member. The memorial was for my friend who died of covid and we got to stay in the unsanitized room. Matt's more worried about saving money and putting his fists up two customers who have complained I received zero empathy, sympathy or otherwise from him. Do not let your employees stay here do not use this hotel for your business. Your employees will be at risk. It's really pretty bad.

My husband stayed at Quality Inn, Boonville, Missouri. Charges were added to our credit card after he prepaid and had checked out. The only reason given was that prepayment must not have covered all the charges?! No reason as to why it would not have covered all the charges. So why allow people to prepay? And if customer satisfaction matters, why would you not explain the reason for the extra charges! No offer of a refund, even though the person on the phone did not even understand why it happened.

I booked three rooms and find out after check out that i only get my diamond status points on one room. It seems that choice finds ways constantly to screw people out of points and not to mention the pos hotel that i am staying in at Suffolk , Va. worst staff ever and will not run the ac. Its 91 degrees in the building and have complained for the past six months that i have been here! Time to find a new hotel chain. I choose choice because the points were better but the properties are getting worse each stay and the points are getting worse!! I can’t even call choice and complain because they barely speak English!! Had enough!!!
