Ref: QUALITY Inn, 7067 Albert Pick Rd., Goldsboro, NC My first attempt of room placement resulted in a tub of water with hair floating in it, the adjourning room also smelled like 🤢 vomit. The 3rd room had never been cleaned & it was after already 8pm. After finally finding a decent room it too needed the bedding to be changed. I asked for housekeeping but they handed me a set of sheets & said that I'd have to change them myself.🙄 I had been on the road for hours & stranded here due to truck repairs & now this.....I wanted to leave but we stayed only to see further cleaning issues in the bathroom.....These issues with housekeeping is definitely a deterrent for future stays. I thought I could enjoy the indoor pool but even that was unclean and appeared unhealthy to swim in. I want a refund or atleast a credit for future stays of other Choice Hotels.

One of the best experiences I’ve ever had! The front desk supervisor Christina was amazing! She was so sweet, and very willing to help. She went above all expectations and even helped my daughter make her waffle for breakfast. Highly recommend this experience to all my friends.

Doesn't look like I can even make a reservation at Choice Hotels unless I ignore the fact that they won't honor their advertised special and I pay full price. I've been on hold for over half an hour to a call center somewhere "offshore" because the website doesn't work properly. They're diligently trying to get a supervisor on the line even now at the 36-minute mark, so I can again point out that my third night is supposed to be half off. The website has a come-on about getting half off the last night of a three-night stay booked by 8/19 for check-ins 9/2 or 9/3; well it's 8/13 and I've now been on the phone for over 45 minutes -- the CSR just gave me a code to enter to get the offer, only there's no way to enter any discount or rate code on the website. I've by now put in another half hour and been called by an ostensible manager of customer service who is unable and/or unwilling to make good on the offer. The individual hotel also refuses to acknowledge it. The website clearly offers half off the third night, then charges exactly the same rate for it as the first two nights; Choice Hotels just wasted hours of my time and will not honor their offer.

Comfort Suites at exit 3, Paducah, Kentucky. A diamond Choice rewards member, I stay at one of there hotels at least twice a week , 52 weeks a year. This choice hotel would not book my room , unless I gave them a bunch of information they already had! I stayed there yesterday. Not very friendly. I kept my cool and was polite anyway. But they should treat people with respect. It is the hospitality industry after all.

I've made a booking for the Comfort Inn and Conference Toronto Airport hotel. This reservation was prepaid and confirmed. However, when I arrived at the place, I found out that it was not the Comfort but Pearson Hotel. Same address, but a different name, different owners, and absolutely nothing common with choice hotels. Of course, my reservation was not accepted. I called the choicehotels.com customer service. I've spoken to 4 different agents both from the customer service and the reservation team. They were nice and polite, but no real help to me. No alternative lodging was offered, or any help to cover my expenses. I was only promised not to charge my credit card for the initial booking. Another disappointment! I had an extensive week before it, and the next morning I had an early long-haul flight, and badly needed room to relax. Choice hotels put me into this situation. So, I had no choice but to pay cash to Pearson hotel for a room. The manager of this hotel offered me a nice price. But still, I had to pay 41 CAD more than what was in the reservation to a non-existing hotel. Thank you, Choicehotels!!

My aarp membership was up for renewal and I redeemed 5000 choice hotel privilege points to renew my aarp membership. I never received the voucher for the points to redeem with aarp nor did I receive my points back into account even after I paid for my nembership.. when I spoke to "representive" my points were supposedly going back onto my choice privilege account. I never received those points back. For every trip we took I made it a point to book directly via choice hotels for the sole purpose to be able to use for an extra night or to redeem for other rewards choice hotels offers. So unless you are staying at choice hotels quite frequently, your points are basically useless and will expire before you have enough Unless of course you purchase the points to add to the points you have. There's absolutely no info on how exactly redeeming points work. The unfairness is despicable. Simply frustrating that where you redeem points,customer service lady said she did not know how to redeem for aarp membership, i ended up paying for my aarp membership . Still never got my 5000 points back.. I don't value choice hotels as i once did, just shows how choice hotels really appreciates your business.

I was looking for an inexpensive hotel since I’m homeless and when I found one for $70, I went to Google maps to doublecheck where exactly it was. While there I see plain as day it’s $67 on Snaptravel listed on Google. I know that the app for whatever hotel chain is supposed to be the cheapest. So I looked and they did have a lowest price guarantee. As I was filling out the form I just knew they would do everything in there power not to honor that guarantee which is no guarantee as far as I’m concerned. To have that many roles in place in order to utilize the lower price guarantee is not worth it. Which they know, so it’s empty words. You already know choice hotels are all roach coaches as well. Number two complaint, I stay two times for a $50 gift card that they aren’t really giving you, it’s nonsense, they will give you 5000 points which isn’t enough to get a gift card, it’s 8000 points for a $25 gift card. And in the middle of the promotion they take away digital gift cards and make you wait a month or more. What a joke!!! There’s too many other options put them out of business by refusing to stay at this joke of a motel chain. Bug infested crap holes

We recently stayed five days at the clarion central Denver. The first night the toilet from the room above overflowed into our unit because the janitor caused it. We had no hot water in the shower all week. Half the tv stations didn’t work and the hotel shuttle never picked us up downtown and we had to call a Uber. We were given two different pickup locations by the drivers and they never showed at either one. The staff was very good but the system was very messed up. Nobody ever followed up on any of our complaints. Also the card keys didn’t work usually.
