My experience with Chewy is never less than 5 stars. In a day and age where customer service has slid way down hill with used to be good companies (like Care Credit and local vet clinics) Chewy continues to have old fashioned, unwavering, quality and caring customer service. So glad all companies haven’t lost their touch. From answering my evening calls, taking care of things quickly and efficiently, being kind the whole time, making my experience seamless to a way better pharmacy service than my vet’s pharmacy (1-2 day shipping after purchased and more flavors in food), I am very happy with their service.

This is my first time ever writing a review on Trustpilot. And I’ve never even bought anything from Chewy myself, as I live in Europe. But I felt compelled to write this. A few weeks ago, my best friend unfortunately had to put her beloved dog down after 15 years. He was her everything and she was heartbroken. Toward the end, he had a sensitive stomach and could only eat special food that my friend bought from Chewy. The day after he passed, she called Chewy to ask if there was any way she could return the unused cases of canned food that she had left over, as it was around $200 and she really needed the money. They told her not to bother sending the food but still gave her the $200 refund and told her to just donate the food herself to whomever she chose. She ended up donating to her vet and the vet tech was moved by the gesture and gratefully took a few cans home for her own special needs dog. No questions asked, no doubt of her story; just compassion and understanding. No doubt $200 is a drop in the bucket for Chewy but this small gesture made a huge difference to my friend in her time of mourning. I am grateful and I know she is as well. Chewy, I hope you know that smalls acts of kindness like this make a huge impact and it does not go unnoticed.

So sweet to send us a consolation card after our little Spirit-Led Beanie went to heaven. Thanks for all you do for our little borrowed heaven-sent friends!

I will never use this company again. The order was delivered at the wrong address. The picture was taken but you cannot see the house number and there is no such house on my street. Very frustrated.

I have always had great customer service with Chewy and they are always willing to fix any issues that come up.

After watching a YouTube dog training vid I got a prong collar for my retriever to get perfect loose lead walking results. It works well. I wish they offered free shipping for all orders.

On 6/17/2025 our little guy Pico, a chihuahua mix, left us for the rainbow bridge. He was 17 years 10 months old and always in excellent health. After a short illness, it was time to go home. I contacted Chewy to let them know that Pico had passed and to please stop our autoship products. The representative was more than kind, expressed her and the Chewy families condolences and to please let them know if they could be of help. Today, unexpectedly, a delivery van brought us flowers. My assumption was that it was from family expressing their sadness about our loss. I opened the attached card and the tears came. It was from family, the CHEWY family. My wife and I cannot express the words to thank you for your thoughtfulness and kindness. The customer service throughout the years from all of the Chewy representatives will never be forgotten. We are retired now and are not planning on any future pets but you can never say never. If we do decide to get another pet, Chewy will definitely be there to help. The website says guaranteed shipping in 1-3 days, but then it takes 8 days for the product to arrive. This is false advertising.
