Chewy.comReviews of chewy.com

Chewy is simply amazing. I only had one instance out of the 7 years of using them where I didn’t get something but they sent it out IMMEDIATELY. They recently sent a portrait of my dog and it was so cute and thoughtful.

Several weeks ago, my veterinarian, I advised that I needed to put my cat at a liquid steroid, the only place I could find it was chewy, never dealt with chewy before. The online process was very, very easy, and my vet was contacted by chewy. The next day for the prescription. Unfortunately, my cat Cosmo passed before the order arrived. Chewy was absolutely fantastic in their customer service with refunding the complete transactional money. Not even taking the product back. Yesterday I received a box from chewy, as I opened it, my heart melted. It was a lovely card. And a painted rock with my cat's name on for the garden, I really do feel that chewie went above and beyond to not even a regular customer. Thank you so much. I will absolutely be ordering from you in the future with my next animal !

I’m honestly blown away by Chewy’s customer service. I left a negative review about a dog food that changed formulas (not their fault), and to my surprise, Chewy reached out to me directly and refunded the order—completely unsolicited. It’s rare to find a company that not only listens to feedback but acts on it with that level of care. I’ve been a customer for a while, but that interaction really earned my loyalty. Thank you, Chewy, for standing out in all the right ways.

We have 5 cats and have ordered from Chewy for a LONG time. Everything is always great. EXCEPT getting pill pockets and is the reason for the one star review. I have complained in the past about how the order is picked. Pill pockets are ALWAYS on the bottom of the box and flat as pancakes. I have mentioned this to customer service in the past which has not helped. Again, pill pockets are the first thing in the box every time with 24 pounds of dry food on top. We LOVE Chewy and wish they would consider retraining their folks on how to pick items for shipping. For now, they get a one star.

It’s pretty simple, and I haven’t had a recent interaction with Chewy, but I have with many other companies. Here is what Chewy does so well that just about every other company fails miserably at: 1) a human answers the phone 2) they speak English 3) they resolve problems That’s it and it’s greatly appreciated.

It's been problematic getting Rx. Now they want prescriptions snail mailed and from me - not from vet. Had a hard time getting the vet (3 hours drive away) to mail the Rx, they accommodated for 1 time only. I then spent >$30 for expedited mailing the prescription to Chewy. Everyone I emailed and talked to were very kind and assured me delivery would be ASAP. I received only 1 of 3 meds. Then I had to do the whole process again (call and get through the bot to a real person to see what the problem was) because the 2nd Rx was written for an amount to be divided in half (xx mg bid) and whoever at Chewy interpreted it as the 1/2 dose amount rather than the full dose to be divided. They are correcting that now but it may or may not arrive before we'll have run out of that med. SO IT IS BECOMING A BIG HASSLE - requiring several phone calls, follow up, me picking up Rx, me mailing Rx, me making sure the autoship is correct, etc. etc. Although Chewy has been on the whole convenient and with nice live customer service when you can connect with them, I probably will have to use the more expensive vet's pharmacy as this process has been NOT convenient nor economical.

What went wrong? Is they shipped me the wrong bag of food, and then asked me to use my time and gas to return it before they would send a replacement bag. This company used to be all about animals and people. When they made a mistake they would Immediately ship you the correct item, and ask you to donate the one that they had sent in error. Not now. Now this company is all about corporate Creed like every other corporation in America. I have been with them 15 years, but they are losing this customer as of today. Please do yourself a favor and make sure that they give you a percentage back of the order Amount when you call to complain. A senior chat supervisor has the power to do that. At least that will pay for your gas and time. Totally disgusted and disappointed by Chewy’s current business practices.

I have always had an amazing experience with chewy. easy ordering, fast shipping. but this last time i accidentally shipped my order to my boyfriends house 1,000 miles away. he said he would be able to ship to back to them since it was untouched and he just opened the box. i called customer service and they said he can use to it for his kitty or please donate to a shelter and shipped me a new one free of charge. that is just never the experience we have with these massive corporations penny pinching the consumer. round of applause for chewy !!!!
