The first time my husband order from this website, I was very impressed by how fast things were delivered to our door. The last two times we ordered from them orders have been taking for ever. We order some food for our pets on February the 25th. Today is March 2nd and my husband called chewy to ask for the delivery and the person that help him over the phone told him that the order was expected to get to us on March 9th. Seriously? We canceled the order and we won’t order from this place again.

Chewy has excellent customer service. I get auto shipments of my cat food from Chewy, but my senior cat was just put on a prescription diet for her kidneys so I had to change her food. The most recent bag I received from Chewy wasn't opened, so I asked about returning it and their response surprised me. Not only do I get my refund but I also get to donate the unused bag of food to my local shelter instead of returning it. I think that's awesome for the company to do. Thanks Chewy :)

Chewy has the most amazing customer service I've ever experienced. In addition to that, I just received a hand painted portrait of my dog in the mail!

I have been a long time customer (5+ years). In the past 2 years their quality control and service has significantly deteriorated. 1. Orders routinely lost or delayed or damaged in transit. Not their fault? Use more reliable delivery instead of.the.cheapest ( ontrac and fed ex suck) 2 Getting a copy of the paid invoice for my dog's prescription should be an automatic thing. No, it now necessitates several phone calls. Yesterday 2/28 I finally received in the mail a snail mail copy from August 2021. IT WAS POSTMARKED A WEEK AGO! 3. The final straw was receiving yet ANOTHER damaged bag of dog food. I am tired of calling and complaining. It is really that hard not to slice open the bags when receiving? They are dealing in volume and no longer care about the customers. And, in all these years of spending $500 a month, I never got any flowers when my cat passed, or cute notes when I had surgery. I think that is pure b.s.!

Before I started using Chewy I read all the reviews which were of course fantastic. I read how they sporadically send treats for your pet etc. I have had nothing but trouble since I started with this company. Simple monthly order, 4 cases of the same cat food every month. They ship me food I didn't order, they ship me 1 case instead of 4 but charge me for 4. Done with the games this company plays. So frustrating and beyond unprofessional

I would like to thank Chewy for being such a caring company. I was ordering an item for my cat and the customer service representative and I started talking about pets and what I feed mine. I then told her that I was nervous about boarding my cat for over a month because I was having knee surgery. The representative said that her grandmother had both her knees replaced and that she is doing great. I felt reassured. We spoke for a little more and I really enjoyed this customer representative's company. My order arrived within days. Approximately a week later to my surprise I received another package from Chewy. I opened it and to my surprise it was a large blue mug with two Tazo green tea bags and a card. I opened the card which was also blue with the name Chewy, Chewy, Chewy written on it. Inside the card was a note addressed to me. I would like your customers to read what it read: Hi Carolyn(with a heart next to my name) We were sorry to hear you're not feeling your best. Wishing you a speedy recovery (another heart next to the word recovery) Good health and some rest. Get well soon. (heart) your Chewy friends. This was a hand written note. The author has beautiful handwriting. I very much appreciated the card and the gift. It made my day. This company goes beyond than just selling products. They show that they care about their customers. Thank you so much Chewy. You are the best. I highly recommend this company. They are the worst to deal with regarding Prescription dog food...keep declining my order stating my Vet declined the Prescription...not true. My Vet approved the prescription.. Every time I call, you don't get to talk to the department that fills the order because they are the ones declining the fulfillment...only customer service and they are no help...very frustrating...meanwhile my dog cannot get the prescribed food because of their ineptness.

I live in MD and usually the orders come from PA and it is 2 days (3 tops - slow). A small portion of the order (Pkg. 1) was delivered from PA. The larger portion of the order (Pkg. 2) has been in transit since Feb. 22 from NV. I placed the entire order on Feb. 21. I have been pulling up tracking every day and the delivery date continues to change. Pkg. 2 has been in PA since Feb. 26. Today is Feb. 28. I called Chewy's customer service this morning to find out what was the issue and was told that someone would follow up and get back to me by phone or email. This did not occur. So, I called again this afternoon before 5p and was told that it takes 48 hrs. for an investigation. I advised customer service to cancel the order. I have 6 dogs and I am not going to continue to go to the pet store to get items to get by until Pkg. 2 shows up. I was advised that they could not cancel a shipment. The customer service agent's attitude was really what blew me away. I was polite, but assertive. However, I learned absolutely nothing from both of my calls to customer service today. Chewy's shipping and customer service has degraded significantly. I have been a customer for 7+ yrs. and I tend to order every 4-6 weeks and each order is typically $350-$550. The few times in the past when I have had an issue, Chewy would make a much better effort to arrive at a speedy solution. I am extremely disappointed and will probably take my hard earned money elsewhere. Chewy's management has changed and it is NOT the same company.
