I have been using Chewy for just a year or so and was on auto-renewal for my dogs senior dog food. I was notified that I had reordered - but sadly my dog had suddenly passed away just a few weeks prior. I immediately called Chewy and got Heather on the phone. She was so kind and thoughtful when I explained the situation. She immediately cancelled the order and cleared me out of renewals. Then sent me a confirmation that it all had been handled. This afternoon I came back from errands and found a beautiful floral delivery with a sweet note from Heather and Chewy saying how sorry they were about my loss. What great customer service! I will be back when we decide we are ready for a new pup!

OUR lil GAL Alice The Cat passed away on 3-6-23 And got her order of food that week. I called to send back they said don't worry donate to a shelter.{As i did all the other items i had} And just today a beautiful flower arrangement gets delivered 3-10-2023. which is a class act and very very thoughtful I am a Petco employee for 23 years and in management, I can guarantee you, I have not seen anything like that thru us ever.thank you Chewy.. I have just spent several weeks of Hell dealing with Chewy. My dog was diagnosed diabetic 3 weeks ago. I learned from friends that I could administer insulin myself with the right materials. I found Chewy on the internet, and ordered a Vetpen to inject the insulin as it would be easier on my pet. Next, I ordered a vial of Vetsulin U40 L.g It was sent to the wrong address, not once, but three times, even after I repeatedly called to have the address corrected! When it finally arrived, it was useless as the freezer bags were completely melted. Since I had already invested some $ in Chewy products, I decided to try again. After another week of frustrating misinformation and communication from Chewy, I rec'd the insulin, intact, yesterday. But wait! The vial does not fit the Vetpen! Another call to the pharmacist! " We are so sorry. the insulin you ordered must be injected with a syringe and the vetpen insulin is out of stock." They deliberately sent what they had, not what I needed! they are the worst. Don't go there, please!

Chewy had a promo if you spent $100 you got a $30 chewy gift card. I went online and purchased $106 worth of products, of which I really did not need because we had Auto ship. I was charged the $106 and never received a gift card. When I called and asked I was told I had to put in a promo code of "winter" to get this gift card. I was also told that this promotional offer had expired by the time I called. There were no prompts when I checked out to tell me this. I canceled my payment method and my autoship orders. When I called to get assistance on canceling these I was told by the representative "that's okay". Yes that's okay Chewy is not the only place around to buy these products. There are other places that are just as cheap, and don't make you spend $59 to get free shipping. One of them is local. I can order my pet supplies and actually receive them the same day. I don't have to wait on a delivery service and track it daily to see where my items are. After several years with chewy, we are done. Yes that's okay

I don’t order a lot from chewy but when I do I always get my order fast and efficiently. My water fountain unfortunately was a dud and did not work but Bridget was such a helpful hand and so nice and understanding. She sent me a new order of a replacement as soon as I wanted an exchange she was very sweet and super enthusiastic, this was the best customer service experience I have ever had from a company. I will definitely be shopping here more often for my pet products.

The people I have spoken to on multiple occasions from chewys have been so compassionate and so empathetic- beyond words! I am so grateful for them! When losing a beloved pet they have talked with me and sent me flowers and refunded money on the food and supplies I purchased for my loved one that I can’t use. They have gone over and beyond any expectation from a company! They really do treat you like a family member! I just lost one of my fur babies who meant the world to me and thought there was no way I would smile or laugh and talking to them they actually cheered me up. The flowers melted my heart.

I never thought a corporation could be thoughtful or kind but Chewy is both and as long as I have pets, I'll be a Chewy customer. In the past 4 years, I have had three cats pass away. One from cancer and two from various other senior related illnesses. When I've informed Chewy or asked to return a shipment or prescription food I forgot to take off autoship, they've refunded my money without me ever having to return the item and then they sent me flowers and a sympathy card!!! What a beautiful sentiment at such a heartbreaking time. It meant so much to me and I am forever a Chewy fan!

AWFUL! They are WAY over priced, go to petsmart.com to shop for the same things free shipping half the price! Chewy also makes you call in after you place an order to make sure it's you, they Also randomly cancel orders when they feel like it with ZERO explanation, honestly this company has been the most awful. When I finally started to shop around I realized how over charged I was! They are DOUBLING prices!
