I have had only good experiences with Chewys customer service. Once an order was lost; when I contacted them, they sent out a replacement immediately with no charge! This is rare in the online marketplace. The shipping is timely, with updates provided & easily accessed. The selection is great & the prices are competitive. The only drawback, if you could call it that, is not being able to order smaller quantities of packaged pet food. They’ll offer cases or boxes instead. Sometimes I’d like to buy something different for my cat, but I won’t buy an entire case of a food I’m not sure my cat will like. I’m lucky as I haven’t had to return anything yet. I’ve also never had an issue with the quality of any cat food I’ve bought. I’d definitely recommend trying Chewy.com!

They have some products in stock that other pet stores don't and sometimes they have decent promotions but the quality leaves a lot to be desired. Constantly receiving cat litter that's opened and torn. Cans of food are frequently dented and rotting on the inside. When I reach out to return they're so annoying to deal with. Some of their staff will tell you that you do not need to return, and then another staff tells you that you have to return. I have had to speak to management when one of their staff wrongly informed me to throw away the rotten cans, but then 3 other staff told me I have to ship it back way after it was already out of my house and in a garbage truck. Absolutely god awful customer service. If you can buy from literally anywhere else, do so. Only buy here if there's some crazy sale and cross your fingers the food doesn't arrive in poor condition.

Chewy has made life for shopping for my two dogs so easy! I don’t have to waste gas or time to go to the pet store to get what I need, it is all there with a click of a button. Gotta love the auto ship.. another to-do list automatically checked off thanks to chewy.

I buy everything for my cats here. Their prices are great, they ship efficiently; even their customer service, the one time I used it, was perfect. I'm glad they exist, as I have 10 rescue cats, and live in the middle of nowhere, and supermarket cat food is unaffordable. Oh, hey, the little masters really like those cat trees we got from you...

Recently, we lost our beloved golden retriever, Strider to cancer. He was only 6 years old. I had ordered a bunch of food from Chewy as we didn’t know he would take a turn for the worse so quickly. I emailed Chewy to ask for a possible refund and has told them of Strider’s passing. They sent me the most encouraging compassionate email with sympathy and gave me a label to ship back at their own expense. That really impressed me. The UPS driver never came up to pick it up. After letting them know, they gave me a full refund and asked me to donate the food to a local animal shelter. I was really impressed with the amount of kindness their representatives had shown me in their heartfelt words. Then-WOW! Last night we had a knock on my door and they sent us the most beautiful bouquet of flowers with a kind message. Never have I seen a company go out of their way in reaching out and our grieving of our beloved dog. I am in awe of their kindness and I will forever use chewie.com for any future pets that we get!

I can't say enough good things about Chewy.com. I have used them for several years to purchase dog food, toys, and medication for my pets. A few years ago our precious poodle passed away. When I called to cancel her food they were so understanding and kind. The next day I received a sympathy card and fresh flowers from them. I was on the phone with them yesterday concerning my order and my grandchildren were making noise in the background. I apologized to the sales lady and mentioned that we had a new ten week old grandson. Today I received a sweet congratulations card, Chewy baby bib, and a Dr. Seuss book "What Pet Should I Get?" in the mail. I don't know of any other companies who do such things for their customers. Chewy will always have my business. Thank you Chewy for always being so kind!

My story is much like the one before me. Both our Great Danes passed recently very unexpectedly. We have been using Dasuquin Chews for their joints and hips for many years.(We've had Great Danes for 17 years-all having lived 10-12 years.) At Morgana's passing, I canceled the autoship, but must have done it incorrectly. My credit card was charged so I called Customer Service. Karissa answered my call and was the most compassionate, sincere young lady when I explained what had happened. She and I both cried, and I knew she felt my pain. She credited my credit card right then, and told me to donate the shipment instead of return it. Today, November 2, I received fresh flowers from Chewy and Karissa! If you have ever wondered about this company truly loving animals or offering quality products - don't wonder anymore! Their delivery service(autoship is what we did), the products offered, and their customer service are topnotch! Thank you, Karissa, and Chewy for being about pets and people, not money! Chewy is a outstanding company that takes great care of there customers. We have orders there dog food for years and they are always on time.recently or little shih tzu passed and we had the order in for food we called to cancel and we got a full refund and was told too donate what they had shipped.the next day we had a sympathy card and flowers on our doorstep.thank you chewy Not too many company’s would go the distance like you .
