On May 30, I made a prepaid motel reservation with Cheaptickets. I received an email from Cheaptickets confirming the reservation (itinerary #726966316).
When I arrived at the motel, there was no reservation; they'd heard nothing from Cheaptickets.
This was, at least, the third time Cheaptickets had pulled this trick on me over several months. When they fail, they rarely take responsibility. They certainly bring shame on parent company Expedia.
Needless to say, I've never used these fraudulent clowns again.

Don't Book Cheap Tickets- it'll cost you plenty
I booked a ticket to ABE from DSM on 10/13/17 and payment cleared my bank on 10/16 for a flight on 11/11/17. Never received ANY confirmation so searched several.airlines the AM of 11/10 until Delta found my return info and confirmation.
It was Then that I discovered Cheap Tickets had booked me into Philadelphia, Not ABE. And that changes could Not be made. Once in Philadelphia, I had to rent a car and drive almost 4 hours to my destination. I couldn't afford to keep the car all week so ended up returning the car on 11/13 and attempted to change flight, go standby, any way to return because I had no way back to resort I had booked. Again, it was Delta that told me I couldn't change my ticket in any way because of Cheap Tickets purchase.
I tried to work with your employee but there was no budging, even though I hadn't received confirmation, etc. I ended up in a hotel at my expense until Thursday! Your "cheap" ticket ended up costing me close to $900 and 6 nights in a city I had never intended to be in.
I am disgusted with your company and will Never use it, recommend it, and will enlighten my friends so that they do the same.
Further, I was informed by your employee that you are not a member of the Better Business Bureau.

Cheaptickets seems to include cheap service
Cheap tickets seems to include cheap service. Due to hurricane "Irma" we tried to cancel 3 times our Kuba flights. Cheaptickets didn't even respond. Contacted the airline Air Europe directly, no chance, they named cheaptickets as responsible contact. Had to call the emergency line in Netherlands, and, after long, long waiting time managed to cancel by phone. Tickets are not refunded, although we bought insurance for these issues. Never again!

Update.... Cheaptickets is doing the right thing. They are refunding the price of my ticket and the cost of the trip insurance. It took a lot of persistence and the refund can take up to 8 weeks to process, but I trust they will follow through.

Horrible! They would not refund my airline business travel ticket going to Houston on 9/11 after Hurricane Harvey. I did buy their trip insurance. I tried to cancel well over a week before my flight. It turns out they will not refund unless someone dies. Essentially, unlike other ticket sellers, their trip insurance is air. Of course people are going to assume this is regular trip insurance like every other airline/reseller sells. I did everything they told me to do to try to get the issue resolved... filed a claim with their insurance carrier online, called the insurance carrier, called Cheaptickets multiple times, called Delta Airlines. This was a business flight and naturally the conference was canceled due to the severe damage from the hurricane. My boss bought his tickets through Orbitz and was able to cancel with no problem.

Now we have no tickets......
We booked a flight to Italy through Cheaptickets. We received an email confirmation, no problem. My husband wanted to pick our seats for the flight and was told to call the airlines. The airlines said they needed a confirmation number. We gave the number and was told that wasnt what was needed. He called cheaptickets again and was told to not worry, we were booked on the flight and the number the airline was looking for would be in an email within 24 hours. That 24 hours came and went. No email. Again, he called and was told the same thing. This went on for several days. Today, he called and spoke to a supervisor who checked with the airline who then said our card was declined. After checking with our card company, they said there was no attempt to charge our card with anything (except the booking fee with cheaptickets). The supervisor said they would refund the booking fee. With that all being said, we are within 48 hours of leaving and now have no tickets.

This asinine company doesn't even …
This asinine company doesn't even deserve 1 star, but I had to roll over a star in order to write. My husband and I are beyond furious!! We booked a round trip vacation to Maui back in January (2017). Upon completion of booking, cheap tickets sent me a text message confirming that our trip was booked. We had no problem flying out of DAL. However, on July 9th, we arrive at the Maui airport 2 hours ahead of time, thinking that we were going to be taking our departing flight home to Dallas. At the ticket counter, I could tell something was wrong because the ticket agent at Virgin America had a puzzled look on their face. I asked, "what's going on?" The response we got was, "you were dropped from your flight." I was shocked and confused, I asked, "how did that happen?" Apparently, cheap tickets changed our flight coming home and NEVER informed us. Since we were a no show for our flight coming home (because we weren't informed), we were dropped and had to pay $1,336 with Virgin America for my husband and I to get home to Dallas. It's not Virgin America's fault, but since they don't deal with "3rd parties", we had to pay with them to get home. My husband and I were furious! We had a 6 hour lay over in San Francisco, and I was on the phone with them for 2 hours trying to get to the bottom of this and was constantly being put on hold! After 2 hours of being on the phone with them, they adamantly insisted that we would not get our money back for the flight we didn't utilize with them. According to cheap tickets, they sent the email on February 6th with the flight change. I checked my email and scrolled all the way back to February and NOTHING!! I demanded that they resend that email to me showing that it was sent on the 6th like they claimed, and they wouldn't do it. The man tried changing the subject each time I asked to resend. I asked them why they didn't send a text informing me the flight was changed? Nothing but silence, the man was on mute, couldn't answer that for me. They're obviously capable of doing that since they texted me when the flight was booked. We're currently now working with our credit card company to get reimbursed for a flight that was never utilized, due to cheap tickets not informing us! The kind Virgin American ticket agent informed us to never book with a 3rd party, they see this stuff happening all the time! It sucks that we were ripped off 1,336 dollars due to someone else's mistake. We may not get our money back, but hopefully someone can read this post and learn from our experience with them. The more people are aware, the less likely they will book with cheap tickets, and the best thing that can happen is for this God forsaken company to go out of business!!! Please, be aware, DON'T EVER BOOK WITH THIS FARCE OF A COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!

Cheaptickets: never again!
Cheaptickets seems easy to book a flight. Your payment is swiftly collected! But when it cones to service, they are the poorest ever!
They hide behind information they need from the company operating the flight. They promise to call back within 24-48 hours but they do not keep that promise. It has been the last time I book through cheaptickets! I advice others to alo refrain from booking by cheaptickets. They are cheap indeed.
