CheapticketsReviews of cheaptickets.com

I booked a flight in September and it was cancelled through the flight company. I received no mail about it until I called Cheap Tickets myself - apparently due to a mistake, my passenger info was deleted, therefore I couldn't find info about my flight anymore on their company's page, therefore I did not get any notifications on the mail address about the flight cancellation. I had even paid extra and booked a special deal with their offered AirHelp Plus insurance. They never reminded me of it. I just realised I should look into that and have submitted my request for compensation on AirHelp page. To get a refund, as I had booked my flight through the Cheap Tickets, I had to start the refund process with them. Now, I did that back in September and you can read on their webpage that a refund usually takes 10-12 weeks - that is about 3 months. So I should have gotten it in December or January. I waited patiently, even forgot about it for some time. Then I remembered and contacted them via WhatsApp first. I got an automated reply and no one ever replied me after that. Now it is March and up until I started calling them again 3 weeks ago, I had not received ANY e-mails from them. Even when they have (at least twice) told that I will receive a mail from a "specialised team". It's ridiculous and time consuming. Moreover, they have apparently requested the refund for the cancelled flight only a week ago, therefore they asked me to patiently wait another 6-14 weeks, and that they will contact me as soon as they have received that refund... That left me with more questions than answers. But in between, I will have no clue, as there will be no communication from them. It's always me that calls or writes to them or asks for any info. I find it a terrible, non-existent service! I have been calling them every week for almost a month now, and while they reassure me that I will get this money back as soon as the flight provider pays them, it feels though I have just been scammed. I find it hard to find them trustworthy as they have given me many empty promises and their waiting times for refunds just don't add up. Often times the client service is very forcedly polite and I doubt they truly care about me as a costumer. I would never use their service anymore and would always book straight though the flight provider. I am writing this review to spare any other person of my experience. Please look out for yourself!! UPDATE! I got money back but not the amount the promised me, still have to call them to ask what's up with that. Considering I asked for money back in September and got it in March and they never updated me about it (except the mail that money was coming), I still regret ever using their services. A waste of time and money.

These guys used to be great. Today I had the worst experience and I will not be using cheaptickets ever again to book anything. I had been trying all day to book a flight to see an elderly relative who has gotten sick and needs me to be there. The cheaptickets website has redirected me all day. I have had to verify that I am human about 20 times sometimes in circles several times in a row. The website froze at least twice today at the very point where I was to finalize the booking and would not let me book. Then when I would check back later the price was higher. That is a bit fishy. It also would constantly revert me to some default date instead of the dates that I entered for the trip and I would fix it over and over. Finally, I signed on to the site incognito today and booked what I thought was my flight, well as soon as I booked the itinerary showed me booking a round trip for the same date and it was their default date not the dates I selected for the 100th time today. Augh, never again. What is even more irritating is that I immediately contacted customer service via their chat and tried to have the charges halted. Granted, the rep did immediately cancel the trip and submit to reverse the charges. However, it is going to be 3-5 business days for the charges to reverse and that means scrambling for more emergency money to make the trip. I am extremely irritated with their website and, frankly, there should be at least a few minutes grace period on the charges before they submit them. I contacted them immediately after the booking. My credit card shows that all the charges are pending reversal, so they did submit them. I'll give them 2 stars just for at least being honest, but the website, come on guys, you can do better than that!! and taking 3-5 days to reimburse, that's pathetic. This is 2022, that can be processed faster.

Worsest third party. I tried few times and always regretted.

Hockey game is on Saturday. Bought hockey tickets on Tuesday, Email instructions say that they are going to be delivered by Thursday. I called customer service to inquire about the delay. You are able to get a hold of a representative within 1 minute. They said the secondary ticket place is experience delays and will send in the next hour. After 2 hours I call again, and the rep said they are going to send the tickets in the next 5 min. NOPE. The tickets ended up coming in by Friday night 8PM. Due to the stress of not knowing if I was going to get my tickets in time, I would not recommend...

I've used Cheaptickets for years but right now, they're advertising flights that DON'T EXIST. So I booked a flight, and was charged, only to have the incomplete itinerary emailed to me. The customer service representative gave me a refund but offered no other alternatives, and failed to inform me that ALL of the flights listed were actually nonexistent! And then I discovered that booking through the airline directly was cheaper and I could select my seats.

I would not have booked this flight if I had known that they would be adding 2 1/2 hours to the flight time. My 7:00 flights are now leaving at 5:30 and getting in an hour later with 3 hour layovers. Horrible!!!

I scheduled two wake up calls and didnt hear neither one of them!! I missed my Father's wedding which was the point of the whole trip. that hotel needs to get its crap together!

So far i had a friend whos card numbers got stolen off of cheaptickets.com, my wife and i rented a car off the website and it turned out that the rental agency wasnt at the airport, now this... When i purchased my tickets on cheaprickets.com i was able to choose my seating. I was excited because i got all exit row seats. When i got my tickets though they werent the same. So i had to re-rsquest an exit row seat when i arrived at each gate. The last leg of my trip i ended up in the last row on the plane against the window next to a man with a crying baby and his young girl who vomited in the aisle and her parents just left it for the whole flight and laughed about it. Not getting my tickets through cheap tickets ever again.
