They seem to always take too long to reply. I am waiting on a refill for my prescription and they seem to not communicate well between each other. My coordinator is waiting on my prescriber prescription and doesn’t seem to be aware I have already talked to the prescriber and the prescriber seems to have forgotten to refill my prescription or renew it…

When I first reached out to Cerebral, I was in an incredibly bleak place in my life, mentally and emotionally. I had dealt with previous online mental health services in the past and they all paled in comparison to Cerebral. My care team was consistent and incredibly caring concerning all of my needs. My counselor Justine was honestly one of the biggest inspirations to me and her guidance helped me immensely. Additionally, they were extremely helpful with helping me find the medication that worked for me and answering any questions or concerns that I had. I cannot recommend Cerebral enough.

I'll start off by saying that I really like the concept that Cerebral is built upon. I had been feeling like I've had ADHD for a very long time, but it had gotten dismissed frequently because I'm an adult woman who was high functioning in school and career, but HCPs would constantly dismiss that my personal life was in shambles. I really felt heard by my prescriber at Cerebral, who gave me multiple options for help managing this side of my life. I didn't want stimulants, that I knew for sure, so she offered a variety of alternatives, some pharmaceutical and some not, one of which I decided on and currently love. My experience with basically every other part of Cerebral has been much more difficult. 1. I changed jobs recently, and updating my insurance has been difficult. Sometimes it looks like it takes, and sometimes it shows my old insurance information on my profile. I'm not sure where I'm being billed, but hopefully I'm still covered. 2. My care counselor has rescheduled or missed multiple appointments, sometimes with little notice, sometimes with no notice. Rescheduling last minute is hard because care counselors often don't have any availability for the next month, so I haven't seen them in quite some time. 3. The cost of my medication changed, and they didn't inform me. Not only do they not accept any pharmacy benefits when it's shipped, but it has been a very long process to get them to send the prescription to my pharmacy (still am getting refills in the mail so I might need to wait until it's a renewed prescription). All in all, I personally think it's been worth it for me. Thankfully, I can still afford Cerebral, but I definitely sense plenty of areas of improvement for the user experience.

Both my prescriber and my therapist are great & my interactions with them have been wonderful. The reason I only gave three stars is due to a couple of the more "tech" side of things: 1. I get emails saying that my prescription has shipped & "track it here" with no link or tracking number which is annoying. 2. The emails reminding me of my appointment the day of also contain what should be a clickable link, but it isn't linked. 3. Most recently, under my Tasks, it said I needed to schedule an appointment with my prescriber and when I tried to do so, there were no open days for 2 months. After contacting support, she was able to open a choice of about 6 days, one of which did work, but the scheduler needs to be improved. 4. The most enduring issue that is driving me crazy is the inability to schedule more than one week in advance with my therapist and to be able to keep a consistent day & time. Not everyone has the freedom & availability to move their commitments around to accommodate therapy, so it would be nice to have a standing day & time for the month, rather than week by week. Overall, I like Cerebral. It is a great service filling a huge void in our mental health care system. But some of the features of how the website works and interacts with patients could definitely use some huge improving.

Cerebral has been incredibly effective in helping me manage my ADHD symptoms. A truly modern approach to Mental Health Care, Cerebral allows me to get the assistance I need from the convenience of a single application. After my initial screening, they provided me with a hands on team of professionals to make sure I am staying on track with my progress through monthly appointments and regular assessments. If you are someone struggling with your mental health but have yet to find the help you need look no further! I’m just a few months I’ve been able to take control of my life in ways I never imagined. Highly recommended!

It’s been great. There are a few hiccups but my care coordinator has been great in helping figure those out. My counselor is super nice and my prescriber really wants to help.

Cerebral has been a life saver. Affordable healthcare with people that I feel actually care about my mental wellness. Easy to get prescriptions that have literally saved me. I feel like a completely new person and am happy for the first time in what feels like forever.
