I was so skeptical about signing up because it sounded too good to be true... but it's just as good as they claim! Everyone I have come into contact with in relation to my care has been amazing. Compassionate and amazing listeners. For the first time I feel like help is possible. Thank you!

People are great, but follow-up is lacking
When you have calls with your team (therapist or prescriber), the people are wonderful, knowledgeable and easy to talk to.
My criticism would be the follow-up. My therapist didn't log on for our last call and never reached out afterwards. For my prescription, I always have to reach out last minute to get a refill before running out, instead of them refilling it automatically like they should.

Basic Monthly Plan
I am paying for the monthly plan where I see a care counselor and a prescriber one time a month. I have not yet had any issues getting my next visit in time. Last month I couldn’t get rescheduled in time, but I tried to reschedule my visit every day and several earlier appointments opened up. I have had to do something similar with mental health providers before in the past and honestly this is way easier than calling every morning to inquire about any cancellations for a sooner appointment.
My med management provider is very sweet. However I wish they allowed more time to discuss meds and answer questions about the meds. It seems a little rushed and if I didn’t have the knowledge already I’d feel a little lost being prescribed some of these medications for the first time.
My care counselor is very, very sweet and empathetic. It’s important to realize the care counselors don’t offer therapy services, and if you require therapy you’ll need to upgrade the plan or find a therapist outside Cerebral. It’s hard for me to imagine what is supposed to be accomplished in a 30 minute session with a care counselor, but it is nice to check in regularly with someone who is affiliated with the same platform as your provider. My care counselor will also respond to messages in the chat addressed to her, and send me resources in between appointments if and when I need them. So that’s nice. I try to refrain from trying to get into “actual therapy” with her though because she sometimes provides advice or suggestions that will not work for me whatsoever under current circumstance and it gets me spiraling even further.
The app itself is rather glitchy with the sound, but it seems they are pushing an update to resolve that.
I think they should increase visit time with a prescribing provider to thirty minutes like most others do. It worries me that they seem to prescribe without spending the time to thoroughly review medication expectations, side effects, and strategy to reach a target dose.
Based on these experiences, I wasn’t moved enough to upgrade the plan to acquire the therapy services I needed and instead opted to keep searching for a therapist. My primary care clinic initially referred me here since they are unable to diagnose and treat one of my concerns so I solely seek help for that one concern and medication. I don’t think I’d feel adequately supported if I were seeking more than that.

I love the idea of Cerebral but there are issues
I love the idea of Cerebral. But there are consistently issues.
1) It's very difficult to get an appointment with your prescriber or counselor. Often, they will be booked for several months out.
2) Every month I receive a phone call from the pharmacy letting me know that my prescriber completely denied my refill or will not answer. I ask Cerebral's team about this and there's never any answers. I go several days without my prescriptions until the issue is resolved and the pattern continues.
3) The care counselors cancel last minute, don't login for appointments and the turn over rate is high. I've been assigned new care counselors several times in a short period of time.
4) When I do have an opportunity to meet with a care counselor, I can tell the care counselor wants to be done with the appointment as soon as possible. Questions like "Anything else?" every few minutes in the conversation is a normal occurrence. And the coping skills brainstormed are things like counting to 5.
I'll continue to work with cerebral because I like the ability of not having to leave my home to receive assistance. But the constant inconvenient small things start to add up and I'm not are how much longer I'll be willing to sacrifice quality in exchange for some convenience sometimes.

I don’t know what happened
I don’t know what happened. Everything was going great! I liked my care counselor and I was learning new ways to deal with everything. This month Cerebral ran into some kind of issue with my medication which doesn’t make sense. Well, this will be the third week without medication. Currently, paying for Cerebral and not receiving half of the services. I guess keep this in mind… this is counterproductive to mental health, lol. It took me months to build that medication in my system and it was just taken away for no reason. They’re working on it, I guess. Doesn’t change the fact that I feel like now I have to start over and the last 6 months were a waste.
Tried to contact someone other than my care counselor (I like her, but I don’t know that there’s much she can do about medication?) I want this resolved!!!!! Can’t get it resolved. Just waiting. Waiting to start this up again. Beware.
Edit: Hey, yeah delays in medication are really upsetting… Waiting 4 days on a prescription (That had a current refill, no less) is pretty unacceptable. Waiting 3 weeks is just… what are you guys doing? That’s roughly 105 hours for you guys to work on this. >>>> There was a current refill available! BTW!! <<<<
I was COMPLETELY patient with this for almost 2 full weeks but I have to care about myself, now. I don’t use this service as a charity to you guys. This isn’t charity. This is peoples’ mental health you’re yo-yoing around here. This isn’t a game. I’m not ordering a pizza or a TV or clothes this is medication I need right now to just function normally day to day.
And if there is a serious issue with it… for some reason… I’d think having the patient take the fall for it is just bad practice? Right? I have to wait for an unspecified amount of time, slowly just getting worse, for you guys to refill a prescription that I already had a refill on. Why do patients suffer because you guys ran into some paperwork issues? If the prescriber isn’t responding to you guys, assign another one! Emergency refill to hold me over? Nope. No resolution, no compromise, no solutions, no answers, no nothing. Just discounts on a service you aren’t even providing. Discounts don’t fix this. There won’t be another month if you guys don’t provide the service!
I did everything you guys asked. Was told, “oops, not sure, really weird, here’s 30% off next month. Just wait, we’re working on it. I’ll look into this. I’ll update you. Here’s 50% off. Etc, etc, etc.” I don’t care about the discounts I want the whole service I paid for and I wanted someone to CARE and DO something about it. Not just spout a script and tell me they’ll look into it. I already heard that! Nothing gets done and I’m not holding my breath.

Quick to take money, slow to actually help.
Booking an appointment is a nightmare with this service. I shouldn't have to message the support team every other time I need one.
My partner just paid for the service, before you even complete the intake, but after payment is due, Cerebral requires a US or UK ID, and takes nothing else. They don't disclose any of this until AFTER payment is already made. My partner has a Canadian Passport, which is a valid photo ID everywhere else, but this service apparently. We are in the process of fighting for a refund.

Scam
Update: Even after canceling they will try to snake you and take money out of your account. Even having evidence and a paper trail of canceling they will charge your account and have the excuse of “you didn’t submit a cancellation form.” I have a paper trail of emails back and forth about it and even a review on trust pilot about the cancellation. I have multiple emails to multiple people about it and not one person mentioned a cancellation form but proceeded to say my account is cancelled and got a refund proving it as well. Do not trust this company they are snakes taking advantage of the covid crisis.
OG: They will take your money, schedule your first appointment a month outside your first month or the very last day Before. You will complain and they will find you another provider. The new provider will cancel on you the day before your “first” appointment. You will want to cancel your membership and request a refund. They won’t try to keep you because they could care less. They will steal your money and only give you $9 back even though you didn’t receive any kind of service except time wasted and hopes crushed. Your mental health will worsen and you will have more trust issues with getting help. Do not trust them.
