Initially worried but it turned out great!
I needed to find a psychiatrist to change my meds, but I don't have insurance and everywhere I called charged between $200-300 for the first appt, then $100-200 each additional appt. The psychiatrist only portion for Cerebral is only $95 a month! I was very worried about how the online experience would go, but I signed up yesterday and booked an appt for this morning with a doctor. The doctor I selected was so great! She listened to me, gave me options on different meds and explained everything to me in a way that I understood it. Im just waiting on my meds to get filled now! I chose to have med scripts sent to my pharmacy, as I don't trust meds through the mail, but at least they have the option for people who want that.

The customer service is so incompetent that it actively impedes my ability to get medication with my provider. I have been a member for two months and have been unable to connect my Cerebral provider with the psychiatrist I had been seeing (I'm moving, so have to transfer providers). This has delayed my medication now for two months. The team still has not figured out how to upload basic documents to my chart. I will be asking for a refund if I cannot get a prescription because of the staff and platform incompetence. The service was technically able to prescribe one medication, but there was an error when prescribing so I got my medication a month later.

After my insurance changed I could no longer afford the copay for my old doctor. Cerebral is affordable. I love the app. Got right in with a new prescriber and she really took her time with my session. Prescriptions sent right away and looking forward to having the app as a tool to keep me on track. So grateful for Cerebral.

Bryan gave a thorough intake questionnaire, gave me plenty of space to gather my thoughts, and didn’t steer me in any direction. I felt a massive sense of relief after we were done, and I’m so pleased with my treatment plan. I look forward to continue using Cerebral, and I am grateful that Cigna covers my plan.
