The app is pretty easy to navigate and I'm relieved to see that my coach has a solid degree and experience to really help me. Love that it works with insurance. I've done plenty of different types of therapy. I'm excited to see what a more targeted, action-oriented approach does for me!

While I eventually found an appropriate counselor, I've had nothing but problems scheduling appointments. 5 times now I've had appointments dropped by Cerebral staff just not showing up. This leads to reschedules, which are nearly always another month wait. I waited 3 months once for a session because of reschedules! Don't worry though, you'll still get billed monthly ;) What a grift.

The biggest scam. Their employee turnover rate is so high that you have to repeat intake constantly. They definitely overcharge/repeat charges for medication and services. They frequently cancel appointments and forget to send your prescription to a pharmacy. Most of the care counselors have nothing to offer but worksheets. Please don’t waste your time, they’ll likely make what ails you worse.

The introduction meeting was very helpful, indeed. I have an associate therapist who is helping me as well as I am helping them complete the hours they need for their full license. I’m happy to have someone to talk to weekly and be completely honest. This has been a good experience overall. Thank you, Cerebral! I look forward to continue my sessions with you and your team.

Overall, I feel I have had a more positive experience with Cerebral than a negative, due to the level of care I get when I do finally talk to my prescriber and care team. That's really about where that ends, though, because when I started with Cerebral, I paid for my first month upfront with a first-time discount, but my first appointment was over a month later, meaning I had to pay for a month's worth of service (at a discount) but had no actual results or care provided. Then, my provider had to reschedule my appointment last minute (the day before), so I had to reschedule for yet another month out. To their credit, Cerebral refunded me the additional month, but from when I signed up to when I finally received care was just over 2 months worth of time, and I needed care badly when I signed up. I work full time and go to school full time online for my bachelor's, so that 2 months of time was incredibly precious to me. Other than that, I seem to get sporadic assistance from my care team when I message them via the app. Supposedly they respond within 24 hours, but I've had a few instances where I had to re-type my question because I would wait a few days and hear nothing back. You may have to repeat yourself when working with the care team via the Cerebral app, and often times your questions aren't fully answered the first time, so you end up spending days trying to get answers to all of your questions that way. For the most part, they do respond within 24 hours, but that applies to every reply they send you, meaning you'll text them once, get an answer the next day, respond to them, get an answer the next day, etc. I appreciate everyone I have worked with so far because they do work hard, and have so far resolved all of the issues I have run into, so it's less a matter of Cerebral not helping at all, and more of a matter of Cerebral simply taking a significant amount of time and effort on your part to finally come to a conclusion for your issues or questions.

As a veteran, scheduling mental health appointments with the VA is a nightmare. Cerebral allowed me to not only get an appointment fast, but everyone I’ve worked with and spoken to has been a consummate professional. Cerebral brought me relief while fighting an archaic mental health system currently in place for veterans. I would recommended Cerebral to any Vet that’s stuck in the VA game.

Very happy with the care providers I have been matched with and the quality of care that I’ve received so far. Still new to Cerebral but it has been a positive start to treatment.
