Grief can be extremely difficult
Losing my dad right the beginning of the pandemic has been the hardest experience to love through. On top of that, I also lost 3 other family members within 1 year and a half apart. However, my dads passing triggered a lot of past trauma because the one person who I had always ran into was no longer here to keep me safe. One day, scrolling through Instagram, comparing myself to other people, I came across cerebral. It’s was honestly a gift sent from my dad because earlier I asked my dad how am I suppose to live life feeling this low?! Fast forward to a month later, after my first session my counselor gave me a ton of resources for grief, journaling activities, and positive feedback. She validated my feelings and allowed me cry. It’s really awesome to know someone understands my emotion better than I do. I don’t feel so crazy. And when I do have a rough day, I am better prepared to deal with it in a healthy way. I am with cerebral for the long haul. I’ve recommended it to my family and friends. Thank you Cerebral for providing an easily accessible mental health check in the comfort of my own home. Best place to ugly cry right?
