Since I started using Cerbebral, I haven’t been as sad and I haven’t had as many negative thoughts as I was having before. My care counselor and my psychiatrist are amazing. Getting to talk to a counselor from my house through video call is so much more comfortable and convenient than seeing one in person.

CLASS ACTION SUIT FILED AGAINST CEREBRAL MENTAL HEAL5H PROVIDER. On June 8, 2022, Chimicles Schwartz Kriner & Donaldson-Smith (“CSKD”) LAWFIRM in California filed a class action complaint against online mental health subscription service, Cerebral, for allegedly violating California’s auto renewal law and other state statutes. Specifically, the Complaint alleges that Cerebral induces consumers to enroll in its auto renewal subscription service with false promises of accessible mental health care providers and suitable treatment options. It is only after consumers are locked into a nonrefundable subscription that they learn that Cerebral does not have ample providers available to suit subscribers’ needs. The Complaint also alleges that Cerebral imposes various roadblocks to cancelling the subscription, making the cancellation process unnecessarily difficult in an effort to trap consumers into paying for unwanted services and charging them for subscription payments after consumers have requested cancellation. Plaintiffs further allege that Cerebral also refuses to issue refunds to consumers who did not use Cerebral’s services due to lack of available care. The Complaint brings claims under California’s Unfair Competition Law, Consumer Legal Remedies Act, False Advertising Law, in addition to common law claims, and asserts claims that Cerebral violated California’s Auto Renewal Law by not adequately disclosing the parameters of the auto-renewing subscription service and intentionally making the cancellation process difficult and not user-friendly.

I received a notification earlier on the day, to remind me of my appointment. Closer to the time of the appointment I also got a reminder. Which I really really liked because it makes me feel like I matter. Like they were focused on what was to come next. I got on the call and the person who I spoke to was lovely. She listened very carefully to everything I said. She asked me if I had any questions. I felt heard. She asked me if this was my first time going through therapy, exactly why I was there, why I chose cerebral. I liked it. It wasn’t 30 minutes though like it’s sad lol but nonetheless I don’t really have any complaints. I cannot wait to start on my medicine and my therapy again!

Each person I have talked to has been wonderful and it feels like they actually care about your wellbeing. Great tools and techniques are recommended ...AND...they work! Great experience.
