Where to begin. The app and the people working with me have been nothing short of STELLAR. I normally don't write reviews but I thought I would for Cerebral because it's changed my life dramatically. The convenience of being able to complete the appointments anywhere has no doubt motivated me to keep all of them. Anytime I had a question I was replied to promptly, even when I moved to a different state, I was quickly connected to a provider who was licensed in the state so I wouldn't have a lapse in care. I've had absolutely no problems. So how has Cerebral changed my life you may ask? Prior to Cerebral I had seen several psychiatrists in-person who didn't seem to want to listen to me, they would often dismiss what I had to say about how I felt and what I was experiencing, in fact the doctors had the gall to lecture me on what they thought I was experiencing and it would be end of story. After awhile, I just kind of gave up because it's so disheartening to be dismissed over and over again when you're just trying to advocate for yourself. When I heard about Cerebral from a friend, I decided to give it a try. I actually felt heard this time, the doctor assigned to me also suggested some reading so I could become more educated on symptoms and coping mechanisms. After I was diagnosed with my condition and received the correct treatment ( I was diagnosed with a slew of things prior to Cerebral, which in hindsight were all incorrect) it was like a veil had been lifted, I finally had a answer to what I was feeling my entire life. My confidence grew, I got a new job that was like 3 promotions up from what I was previously doing, I was able to double my yearly salary, I can now focus on things long enough to follow through, I feel clearer headed, no longer feel anxious or feel like something is wrong with me..My life took a turn for the better. I didn't know I was capable of reaching such heights, I just needed someone to listen to me. I often wonder what my life could have been if someone had just listened to me earlier, especially while going through my college years. Give Cerebral a try if you've had an experience like mine where you didn't feel heard, they will listen and you too can begin to live your best life.

I started Cerebral during the pandemic because I was depressed after losing my job of 7 years and I just needed a little extra help transitioning into a new role that I had prior to starting Cerebral. With the help of my therapist, and once I was out of the role, I realized that the role I had chosen for myself wasn’t a good fit for me and was causing me additional stress in my life. Cerebral and my therapist have been super helpful with giving me the space to express and process my feelings without being judged or making me feel like I’m broken in any way, which goes a long way for me as a gay man from a religious family that made me feel this way growing up.

I could have used mental wellness help in the past, but right now I NEED it. It is very reassuring to know I can quickly get help.

Noelia is a great care coordinator, she’s been helping me with different types of exercises to help with my anxiety and with my lack of motivation her tools so far has been helping focus with completing tasks and coping skills. Also I was prescribed medication that is actually helping me with my anxiety, so far I am very happy with the services.
