I do not recommend using Build.com. The product doesn't leave the warehouse within 1-2 business days. The handles i purchased are still not shipped on the 4th day. Also, no delay information is provided and customer service is useless!

Zero stars, this business needs to get sued by someone. I ordered 3 ceiling fans from them and the sales guy recommended I also purchase 2 additional items for the fans (down rods, and mounting bases). Turned out I didn't need the additional items so I returned them. After they were received Build.com refunded $67.14 from the sales total of $145.05. The $77.91 that was not returned was deducted as "shipping charges". $77.91 for shipping of 6 items never opened and weighing no more than 10 pounds? Really??? Buyer beware, these guys are thieves! Obviously I will never order from them again.

Bad – unacceptable experience, unreasonable and rude conduct.Will never order from them again. After they have your money they don't want to help you out. And in store credit is a joke.

Dreadful service. Have used before without problem, but never again. Expensive microwave delivered was both faulty and had clearly been previously returned by another customer (the delivery address was in the box). CSR was rude and then didn't even respond to my email requesting how to return the faulty one. Complained and a replacement was sent, but was told had to hold on to the original for THIRTY DAYS until UPS might (not would, might) pick it up. Have complained again about that, but still no resolution and no explanation why it simply couldn't be returned. This has been going on since 9/27. Will just go to Best Buy next time. UPDATE 10/19/18. See the helpful reply below dates 10/11? Makes them look caring and responsive? Don't be taken in. The faulty, previously returned by another customer product is still with me, despite being told UPS would pick it up within "one to two business days" (they also sent me two different return labels and tracking numbers then told me not to use them). Now they've gone silent on me. Hopeless.

Made an order on 8/28 for kitchen door pulls and hinges that were said to be in stock. Received conformation order to be shipped and delivered in 5 to 7 days. They split up the order and I received a few door pulls about 10 days after order date, second package with rest of door pulls and some door hinges a few days after that, and just received email saying last of shipment will be sent out on 10/2. Very poor shipping. This is for a remodel job and customer pays the consequences for not having the products.

They used a shipper that doesn't ship residential. What? After my shipment sat at their warehouse for a week, I found out that they were going to hire a subcontracted shipper to deliver it. After getting no firm delivery date, I had to go get it myself. Just goes to show the best price isn't the best deal! Should have paid more and bought it locally.

Never order from this company! If they deliver damaged goods, they will not replace them. I purchased a refrigerator which arrived damaged. They refused to replace the unit or the damaged door. They wanted me to have it repaired and they would reimburse me. This puts me in the position of arguing with them as to if it is repaired or not. Awful company and customer service. Has cost me thousands. Find a reputable dealer near you and avoid build.com completely.
