I have given a review based on purchase of a kitchen Island. Shipping company proceeded to rectify the problem. Today 4 people were sent by the shipping company and they helped to bring the Island Kitchen into my home. I hired additional help and they worked to bring the product in with ease. Grateful they made things right and I am happy with the Island. Just wish this would have taken first time around and not after the complaint. Grateful for the company acknowledging the complaint.

If you are ordering something shipped from Build.com it will be great, timely and good, quality products. (I ordered all Kohler). If you are ordering something shipped by freight, watch out. We had 2 freight orders, a tub and tile. Both were a disaster. Every time we called build.com we would wait on hold for a hour and get a different story. Finally on our own we found our our tub was sitting at the freight company in our town. We somehow found the tile on our own too. Delayed our project.

I bought a kitchen faucet that came without the installation hardware and weight even though the item listed as included and the box had a spot designated for the items. I called Build to ask for a second kitchen faucet and it too came without the hardware. When I called again, they told me it would take 6 weeks to receive once first faucet was returned. I was able to find, buy out of pocket and receive the hardware in 3 days. Check the fine print.

My parts arrived with damage that should be caught if there were an outgoing inspection. It was a top name brand, so may have been a take off. No damage to the box, so the damage was not by the shipper. Easy quick refund process. Bought a replacement at the local big box store.
