I called 3 times for a quote in the last week and was placed on hold for 5-10 min to be ask " what did you want ? " when they got someone on the phones . Whoever is running this place needs to understand I called to spend money not wait on the phone . Get your act together . Jeff

I called looking for a replacement Tub & Shower for one that I had which had Cracked in the bottom. Instead of offering an option that would fit my requirements they treated me like I was crazy for demanding that the shower be a certain way. I was not impressed and will not be calling them again.

I purchased a washer and dryer from them. Both arrived damaged. First they said they were going to replace the items at no cost, then sent me to the manufacturer, who said that since I bought new items, I should not be in possession of a refurbished item. I called them back, got endless runaround from three different people, one of whom was rude in his email, and in the end remained with the damaged appliances.

I just called there to try and purchase items and the sales associate who answered the phone couldn't be bothered because the items were in a shopping cart that another' sales associate (whom has continuously been unattainable) was helping me with previously. Thank you for the heads up!!! Now I'm def not spending thousands of dollars on items that I will most likely get CRAPPY customer service. She even hung up on me when I asked her why she couldn't help me!!! If this is the way they are before purchase I can't imagine how they would be after.

As the parent company of sites like Lightingdirect.com Build should take better care of the entire customer care process. The customer service reps are clearly trained to pass the buck when actual problems occur with shipping or product issues. If you are considering a major purchase with this company -- DON'T DO IT! There are credible online companies to shop with, and this is not one of them. I wasted $136.00 on a light with Lightingdirect.com (a subsidiary), I cannot imagine what someone would do if there were problems with a really expensive order. Not worth the time or loss of investment.

Told item in stock and ready to ship. 2 weeks later I was told backordered. Now it supposedly shipped 2 weeks ago but there is no tracking number. Compnay wont answer phone or return emails.
