It was a long story about how i ended up buying on this website and I will try to explain it in a short words and watch review. I've been to Hawaii for my brother's relative marriage function. I've noticed that my brother and his sons wear the same brand watches which looks super cool and very attractive. I wanted to ask him about watch but he itself revealed that he recently bought Swiss classic off the internet. It was quite surprising to me because he is the person who always love to purchase from local stores not a fan of online purchase. I asked him about details, he gave this site address and that's how I landed to this website.
The next week I purchased the same from this site. I got my delivery within a week and The Swiss Classic with black mesh strap looks so elegant and very attractive. I would like to thank Brathwait for quick shipping and nice packaging.

I placed an order five months ago
I placed an order 1st Feb 2020. They don't know when they will be able to ship it and they refuse to cancel the order - against their own cancellation policy.
This company is a SCAM !

THE MINIMALIST LUMINOUS watch looks really amazing. It is fitted with a domed sapphire crystal that makes it look more stylish and elegant. Super satisfied with my purchase.

Brathwait Swiss Automatic--Close to Perfect
I ordered the Swiss Automatic August 9 of 2018 and it arrived on January 4, 2019. During the wait I emailed customer service a couple times and received assurances that the watch would arrive shortly. It was about five months to in my hands.
I was concerned that the watch might be as untimely as the delivery, and I was suspicious that the let down would soon come; and, after an initial period of pretty good time keeping, I began to imagine that the sweep second hand was sluggish at the onset of the new minute, that some jagged action was apparent just past top dead center. This made me feel like there might be some stripped gears inside and that the thing would turn out a burn. It was all an illusion, or a hallucination on my part. When viewed with a loop the sweep was indeed tracking perfectly on the small second dial.
But I am getting ahead of myself. When it arrived I was very pleased with the fit and finish of the watch, the beauty was patent, but at 38mm it is smaller than my apparently indestructible quartz Brathwait Slim Classic (40mm, purchased May '16); and certainly not as slim, but decidedly thicker, or rather taller. (I really liked the thinness of my first Brathwait watch at a quarter of the price of this new Swiss Made Automatic.)
As a result, I did suffer some buyer's remorse; I felt the watch was possibly a vain and wholly unnecessary accessory--what was I thinking? But, I kept wearing the Swiss Auto, becoming very attached to it, and feeling incomplete without having it on. We endured, the watch and I without any deal-breaking issues, and finally I relaxed into the notion that the contingency period might not be violated by any fault of the golden, beautiful and complex timepiece.
The watch did slow down after some months and I reset the minutes lost on Sunday mornings, slightly irritated that the time was not spot on, but not about to return it for that.
Then, one day as I was getting dressed, I fumbled the watch, and caught it on my foot like a hackey-sack, and I put it on without a second thought. A half hour later I realized it had stopped running.
Pained, shocked at my loss, in my grief and horror (and in realization of my perhaps emotional over-attachment) I emailed customer service and told them I needed to make a warranty return. The jolt the watch received from my fumble felt like hardly an appropriate cause for refusing to run, or for declaring the event to the vendor.
Brathwait customer service sighed heavily on the other end of the email and asked if I was aware of the extended wait times for these hand made watches. I said yes and prepared to send it in (Veronica).
Instead, I took it to a demure watch shop on College Avenue in nearby Santa Rosa (not at the mall). The wizened watch maker looked it over, cleaned around the crown, opened the case, and gently gave the works a spin. The watch immediately came back to life and the watchmaker said after examining and inspecting it's wheels and motions, " ...this is a fine watch, did you drop it?" I explained my exceedingly tiny fumble, whereupon he proceeded to educate me about how the automatic can get a microscopic bind and stop the movement, at which time it just needs a minor service from a trained professional. It was true! (my joy ridiculous) I then complained that the watch was increasingly less reliable except finally it had arrived at the consistently dubious rate of four minutes slow per week. My new watchmaker put it on his accuracy sensor, adjusted various settings and watched his needle at the middle of the scope "...it's really good, but we can move this little regulation lever to speed it up a bit", showing me as he proceeded. It was a very small nudge. He told me that there is absolutely nothing wrong with the watch, the movement, and he thought it an excellent value. He said most of the broken watches with this type movement are not the fault of the time keeping parts, but that people roughly handle the crown when adjusting the time and date. He showed me how to move the time forward at the rate of a couple seconds per hour (around), never adjusting backwards; his assurance was "take care of the crown and stem and the watch will run indefinitely"
I paid my $15 service fee and bowed to my new friend.
I was much gratified that I purchased the genuine article from Brathwait, and the regulating that the watchmaker applied to speed up the movement was precisely what the watch needed to be extremely accurate. I haven't reset the time on it in six months other than for time changes and it's always close enough to perfect.
The contingency period is over. I've had my watch almost seventeen months, and I couldn't be more pleased with it; the little concerns I had initially now being completely assuaged by time, information, knowledge, and experience.

only 3/5 because:
only 3/5 because:
* I loved the first watch I got from them, unfortunately lost it while surfing
* I ordered a new watch from them and it took 3 months of "it'll arrive next week" until I asked for a refund.
I have no clue if you can still order from them, or if they are not delivering anymore and just lying to their customers
Response from BrathwaitMar 15, 2020
Hi David! First of all, thank you for being a customer! We are sorry to hear your timepiece was lost during surfing but hope you were happy with it until the sea took it! We apologize for the longer than normal wait time for your Order! There is no excuse but the reason is a large backorder due to high demand on top of a shipment that was not cleared through our quality controls. There is different wait times for different watches, but rest assured we are working as hard as we can to get all watches out to our customers as soon as we can.
We are deeply sorry we did not meet your expectations this time around, but hope you will give us another shot in the future.
Sincerely,
The Brathwait Team

Truly terrible and shady practices and…
Truly terrible and shady practices and customer service. I ordered a watch on December 13 and was then sent an email saying the watch would be delayed. I checked back weekly to see if there was an update and was always told that they would receive shipment by the end of next week so to expect my watch to ship out then. It kept getting pushed back and back and back so I ordered another watch instead. That one was also delayed. When I finally received it many weeks late, it was the wrong watch! Finally, on January 28 I just canceled my orders because they can't give me a straight answer about when my watches will be in stock or even if they have the correct ones that I'm looking for. They refuse to let me speak to any kind of manager or speak with someone on the phone. Something is going on that is very suspicious. Waste of my time, super sloppy, and truly terrible business practices!
UPDATE:
Now I'm being told that they have started working with another manufacturer and so they don't even make the watch strap I want anymore AND that the images on the website are incorrect. So when you think you're ordering something, another item may just come in the mail and that's because the images on the website are wrong. Wow, just wow. Can someone from this company give me a straight answer about anything? All I want is an all-black leather strap for this watch I have. I've given up on everything else I had ordered. But apparently they don't make those anymore.

Hey Mariah! We are very sorry about the longer than normal wait time for your Order. I have reviewed your correspondence with our customer service and we are very sorry you were not happy with the help they were able to provide you with.
I see your watch had a backlog due to the holidays, but were supposed to be part of a shipment coming in before Christmas that was delayed. I can assure you there is nothing "suspicious going on". We have over 4,500 five-star reviews via Yotpo and other review sites on our watches and ship out hundreds of watches every month. We try to ship the watches out as fast as we can but unfortunately sometimes it is not good enough, and we are truly sorry for the long wait and experience you have had with this order.
We trust you received your refund promptly when requested and hope you will give us another chance in the future.
UPDATE:
Hey Mariah! I see you were given an explanation for why the watch you ordered had white instead of black stitching. We are truly sorry, and after checking up we found out this mishap was due to an update with the manufacturer as you were correctly informed about from Customer Service. We are working to correct this detail (which only applies to this black strap) and also get the black stitching back in stock. We trust you received your refund for both watch and strap promptly.
Sincerely,
The Brathwait Team

Great watch...for about one year.
I loved my automatic watch for the first year. I even bought every accessory offered for the watch. Then it fell apart at about 14 months. I contacted customer service and they told me that it wasn't under warranty, but they'd be happy to sell me a new one at a discount. Clearly I'm not impressed with their customer service.
Response from BrathwaitJan 14, 2020
Hey Trey! We are very sorry you didn't have the customer service follow up you should expect from us. We see your order is over 2 years old, we have switched out our customer service team and taken steps to improve the customer experience since then.
I can assure you we pay a lot of attention to the quality of our timepieces, but as with any product as complicated as a watch there is a small chance something like this can happen. Please reach out to customer service and we will see what we can do about your watch. Thank you again for being a customer. Sincerely, The Brathwait Team

Absolutely awful service
Absolutely awful service. I ordered on black Friday for a Christmas present and paid for fast delivery. I received an email explaining that it might take awhile longer. I then emailed on December 20th asking about it and was told it would ship soon.
I've just cancelled my order as its far too long and I'm going to buy a watch elsewhere. I received an email explaining that they didn't have enough stock. They shouldn't have taken orders they couldn't meet.
Extremely disappointed and would not recommend at all.
Response from BrathwaitDec 31, 2019
Hey Sarah! We are very sorry you had a bad experience with your order. We were unable to find any order under your name so unfortunately we do not know what could have caused a delay for your particular order. Regardless, we are very sorry about the longer than normal wait time you experienced, we always try to give our best delivery estimates to all customers.
We trust you received your refund promptly when reaching out and hope you will give us another chance in the future.
Have a wonderful rest of your Holidays and a Happy New Year!
Sincerely, The Brathwait Team
