Terrible service, i ordered a strap that was delivered to my office during COVID. Unfortunately, i was not there so didn't receive the note and it was sent back to them via the postal service. They assured me once they receive it they will refund or send another 4 weeks have passed and they stopped replying to my emails, I have no refund and no strap, so essentially they stole my money. SCAM!

Hi Nicholas,
Thank you so much for taking a moment to message us here and let us know you still haven't received your strap. We apologize you haven't heard back from us yet! We are doing our best to reply to every email, but are receiving a little too many requests recently. Could you please provide more details on your order so we can look into the status of the returned strap as soon as possible?
Thank you so much!
Sincerely, The Brathwait Team

Worth the wait
Worth the wait! That's what I can say now after seen the watch. The Swiss made automatic not only looks visually stunning and it gives luxury feel. Top Class!
I'd say that Italian leather strap added more richness and swag to this watch. I can assure, strap is made from top grain leather. No harm to my skin, its smooth.

Dear Maciej,
Thank you for taking a moment to share your experience with us here! We are very sorry to hear you didn't have great experience with us this year, the pandemic interrupted many processes here at Brathwait . Please let me assure you that we focus on improving orders/requests processing time to prevent such delays from happening in the future.
It appears we got back to your email on September 3rd, could you please check if your refund was posted back to your account and if there is any further problem. Thank you!
Sincerely, The Brathwait Team

Nowadays It's a rare thing to find a good stuff on social media. Luckily a I found a good thing, it's none other than a legit online watch shop - Brathwait. I have seen many varieties and one that impressed me - The Liberty Datekeeper.
It looks so classy and Dark grey crocodile leather strap added more beauty to it. Free shipping and worldwide warranty made me order immediately. I must say this one looks so good on my hand.
Thank you Brathwait!

It's hard to rate Brathwait a 2
It's hard to rate Brathwait a 2, but I have to. My first watch from them, the Quartz Minimalist has been a delight for 4 years now, as have the extra bands I ordered. But I ordered the Automatic Minimalist 7 months ago and only just received it yesterday. 7 months isn't even unacceptable - it's silly. A lot of this delay is from well before COVID hit.
But I did get the watch, and I like it. However the watch band this came with is markedly lower quality than the one that came with my old watch and the extra one I got a year or so after purchasing it. They must have changed to a different manufacturer, and it shows rather poorly. It's quite a different type of band, and the photos on the website still show the older band, so it's a bit misleading.
It's sad, because they really do make good watches, and I would have recommended them in a heartbeat before. But waiting 7 months for a watch and then getting a lower quality band is a bit too much. I waited so long I'm not even annoyed about it anymore, but I felt compelled to make this review and put my experience out there.
Based on the watch and bands I got in 2016, I would rate them a 5.

Poor customer service
Extremely disappointing experience. I would not recommend. Delivery of the watch took two and a half months, I thought the quality of the materials was surprisingly poor and so requested a refund, which is then took three months and persistent nagging. Pleased to receive it in the end given the situation but overall poor.

Don't Order from Brathwait
This company is a joke. After 3 weeks of placing an order for an item (Order no: 100053017), which was confirmed that was in stock, I am still waiting the watch to be shipped. I sent 4 emails to their customer support team and asked them to let me know if they can confirm/ ensure the delivery by 19 June and if not, cancel my order immediately. Despite claiming on their website that they answer emails within 1 working day, I have yet to receive a reply. You may not have the item in stock but at least have decency to reply customer emails Brathwait.

Don’t buy a watch from them!
Bought the Swiss Made Automatic Watch few years ago, and I decided to write a review now because I don’t want people to make the same mistake I did and warn people about their dishonest marketing. Yes, the watch looks great at first glance, but the movement itself is so poorly made and definitely not worth the money. My initial watch stopped winding after a few months, so I had it replaced under the first year warranty. The replacement was even worst, the stem gets disconnected constantly when adjusting the time. I can’t be bother to have it replace again, because every replacement will take over 3 months! It is obvious that they don’t even do a simple quality check before shipping, unlike all Swiss brands. The watch doesn’t feel like Swiss made and certainly don’t come with any quality like a Swiss watch. It is cheap because it’s component is cheap, so don’t get fooled by their marketing! The power reserve on the movement is probably a little bit over a day, and you’ve to wind it very often. The picture of the movement on their website is not the movement they ship with, that is not SW260-1. It’s better to save your money to buy a proper Swiss made watch, like Rado and Oris, as their lower end model is only a tiny bit more expensive and will work way better. Also be careful when buying the watch with gold coating, because my first watch was the gold version, but the coating starting to come off after a few months (another reason why I had to return it), so it most certainly won’t last, you will be much better off with the steel version, hence I asked for a silver version as a replacement. Paying almost £400 (excluding import duty) for a watch that only last for about a year is not worth it. If you are looking for a quality watch in this price range, you can consider Junghans or Hamilton, as I have bought a few watches from them already and seem like a much better choice already. If you are looking for a Quartz movement, then look for Daniel Wellington.
Also don’t trust the discount countdown clock on their website, their discount is all year round. Marketing technique like this is illegal in the UK.

Hi Alfred! We are so sorry you have had issues with your watch! I can assure you we pay a lot of attention to the quality of our timepieces, but as with any product as complicated as a watch there is a small chance something can go wrong.
As far as your claim that these are not Swiss watches, that is a far cry from reality. These watches are handmade in Switzerland and uses the Swiss made Sellita SW260-1 movements (https://reference.grail-watch.com/movement/sw260-1/). Sellita was founded in La-Chaux-de-Fonds in 1950, a town located in the canton of Neuchâtel in what is the heart of the Swiss watchmaking industry. Sellita is today one of the largest mechanical movement makers in Switzerland. Like all Swiss made watches, our Swiss made qoes through a quality check program before shipment to us, and another quality check at our fulfillment center in the US.
We have a lot of very happy owners of our Swiss Made, and we are heartbroken that your watch failed you. We are a small company and since you mentioned DW I thought Id share how Brathwait started. Our founder owned a DW that broke almost a decade ago, he then looked into how they were made and found out how DW basically were made with the cheapest components possible in China, while sold at a premium to the end consumer. This injustice prompted him to start Brathwait to make the best watches possible at the same price as the cheaply made DW. Brathwait was the first in the industry to offer complete transparency into all components and the prices per part to have them made.
Again, we are terribly sorry you are not happy with your watch and we will do everything we can to make this right if you give us the chance to. As your first name alone won't allow us to look into your order, please reach out to [email protected], tell them you messaged us on Trustpilot and we will make sure to make this right by you.
Thank you for owning a Brathwait and thank you for reaching out to tell us about this so we can continue to do and be better.
Sincerely,
The Brathwait Team
