*UPDATE* After a few weeks of back and forth, I finally was able to speak with someone at the company. They informed me that they had been using a third-party customer service company, and that information got lost in translation, so to speak. They have refunded me the full amount for the faulty watch and have put me on the waiting list for a new one. I have been very pleased with this turn-around, and can say that my experience dealing with the actual company has been leaps and bounds better than it had been when dealing with the third party. I love the look of the watch and will hopefully be able to get a new one that will work for a while longer. I will definitely keep Brathwait in mind for future watch purchases. *DISCLAIMER: I am leaving my initial review here for transparency because the first contact with the company was indeed poor, but they have fully rectified the situation and I can again recommend the watch to friends and family.* Miserable customer service. Got one for my wedding, less than 6 months later it stopped working for no reason. No drops, no hits, not so much as a jostle. The company basically said "sorry but we're not responsible when our products stop working for no reason, take it a jeweler or buy a watch repaid kit online!" Avoid this company at all costs, they clearly only care about their bottom line, and they make a shoddy product.

I bought the watch back in 2020 during black friday sales, but it didn't arrive in time for Christmas. Shame, though understandable given Covid shipping delays. The watch didn't arrive until months later, with little response from the customer service team. Then it stopped working within 1 year. I asked them what could be done since it was within warranty, they advised to change the battery and that they would refund me the cost of doing so. While the battery change was successful, I have heard nothing about the refund since. Bad customer service. EDIT: Finally got refunded. They also gave me 15% off for my troubles, which was very nice of them. Changed review to reflect this.

Great looking watch. Second hand fell off after 3-4 years but brathwait offered to replace it at no charge. Watch is back ordered and I’ll update this review when it arrives. .

Attracted by its appearance (it's one of the most attractive watches I have owned - that I'll admit), I bought the automatic minimalist watch because I'm one of those who likes to be able to see the date as well as the time. I didn't realize until I ordered it that I had bought a mechanical self-winding watch. Even after learning its idiosyncrasies from B's customer service, it never kept time well. At first, it'd be out by about 1-2 minutes every few days. That's tolerable, but I mean really: with custom charges and the exchange this watch had cost me upwards of $400 Canadian. But about 2 years after I bought it and after the guarantee expired, it suddenly started going fast by 15 minutes a day, I'm not kidding. I got a similar looking Tissot for the same price. However they later wrote me saying that they would replace the watch, despite the fact that it was beyond the guarantee, because obviously something was unusually wrong, as long as I send my old watch to them so they would check it. I didn't want a self-winding watch that looked so similar to the Tissot I had bought; so I kindly thanked them for their offer and said I'd take a Liberty Quartz watch, which is a lot cheaper. They agreed, and have sent it to me. So I thank Brathwait for coming through for me!

Our team are on hand to assist with any issues you may have, however, if you're not completely satisfied your watch is covered by our twelve-month international warranty against any defects in manufacturing which includes the watch movement, indexes, dial, and hands. If the watch parts or mechanics don't work properly, and it's our fault, we will repair or replace your product for free. If the product is returned during the warranty period, Brathwait will repair or replace any defective watch or watch-part, at no additional expense, within a reasonable time, after the product is returned. I made an order for the Swiss Classic with mesh strap. It took half a year for it to finally reach my doorstep... however, this was mainly due to the COVID-19 pandemic putting up multiple stops in the delivery service. The product delivered came in good condition, just as I expected from the photos. I'm very satisfied with it and currently wear the Brathwait watch every time I get to go out. It's been over 2 months now since I've first worn it, so far am loving it. Also, shout out to team Braithwait support team. It takes a while for them to reply, but it was understandable that they're being flooded with tickets during the pandemic, yet they still get the job done. :)
