Awesome product, and growing. Love the snacks, very interesting selection vs. what you find in a "East Asian supermarket", as these are niche products, very local stuff, you can't get it outside of japan basically. The founder actually goes to all the merchants himself to sort out supply chain, very impressive. Also, they used to be a bit slow with delivery in the UK, but improved 3x in <6 months, I expect them to do next-day very soon!

Bokksu is great. I love all the snack choices that I wouldn't have tried had I not signed up to get the snack boxes. They are great. And love trying new teas also. The pastries I got with a gift card were excellent and a friend and I had a tea party with them.

Full price is an absolute rip off, price points must equal about £5 for a few tiny rice crackers, same for a few tiny, and very average cake pieces. Such poor value. Essentially £50 for a box of what feels like complementary snacks at a conference.

Got my second box yesterday... just like the first, did not disappoint me. I was thrilled with the first box, but waited for more before writing this review. I must say, I've read some others' reviews that indicated the value of the items not worth money spent. I am more into the EXPERIENCE of this unique treats that I cannot get here. Thus, value is subjective for each person, so for me, well worth the treats! Looking forward to more happy yay yay feelings.

I give 3 stars because I really liked the snacks and believe them to be good quality. The shipping was fast (within Europe). But the rest was terrible. I find the website very chaotic to use on the phone. After purchasing my subscription I got so many emails about other features it was borderline to spam. Like literally every minute. In the end, I never got any important email anymore. I was never informed if my box was ready, and never got a tracking number (One of my best friends did a subscription as well. She gets the mails, and of course I checked my spam). Those boxes are expensive and since it is quite helpful to know them in my country, I wrote to the support. Didn't get an answer. They don't care. Then I got a mail from customs to pay the fee, asking me for the tracking number in the form. Great. Thankfully it was part the link to the form, so I copied it out of there. I wrote a second mail, always polite, asking them to please fix that for my other shippings. No answer. I just know the the 2nd bokksu was shipped because my friend got the mails. What I suspect is that they want to you use the phone support instead of their mail. Using it, you agree to get spam of them, what you can cancel, but I do not like the concept. The email for customer support seems fake. In the end it seems that after they got your money, they give a damn. So if your countries postal service is a piece of work, think twice about purchasing a bokksu, because chances are that you will get no help.

First box was nicely wrapped and had interesting things plus a neat glass gift. The rest of the boxes in the subscription were not wrapped, had a mix of cheap rice crackers and various gummies mainly in green tea flavors. No gift. Really not worth it.

Bokksu themselves are great and the subscription boxes are excellent, but 2 out of the last 3 shipments have not arrived. This is because they are using Evri to deliver and the shipments just go missing. Bokkusu said they would send another shipment after the first went missing (which was excellent) but I now have no confidence that it will arrive if they use the same carrier in the UK. Such a shame that the excellent product is spoilt by using the world's worst parcel carrier.

The Bokksu subscription is an outstanding gift. They notify you from the time your box is being prepared until you receive it, timely notifications are sent. Each box is has a beautiful unique design with a theme. The contents are well presented with quite a variety along with an appropriate tea. Everything is delicious. It’s a great gift, fun to receive each month and good value. Highly recommend for a truly satisfying and unique experience!
