Read the fine print
I have a hard time with charges found in the "fine print". After booking a hotel room with billabook as a non-refundable booking, when I arrived at the booked hotel of course there was a "destination fee" charged at check-in. After looking at the reservation confirmation I could see in the "fine print" I was liable for this fee. While yes I agreed to this charge in the "fine print", I believe this is a deceptive way to conduct your business. It should have been very clear to me at check-out that I would be paying this fee when checking in. Just another bad experience with a third-party booking site.

Update from a previous post
Update from a previous post, So they have refunded me and it wasnt even what i paid these guys got refunded£289.16 when i paid them £331.64!! As these guys messed me about i had no choice to pay the hotel directly too and this was £450.20!! This is not going to stop until i recieve £161.04 still owed to me! i am going to take this further ADVICE FOR ALL, DO NOT USE THEM if you dont have extra money at the hotel and you get stuck they wont help! they wont pick up a phone or email back until weeks!! AVOIDD

I needed to book a room urgently and…
I needed to book a room urgently and needed the best price I could get, we had to change our flight and stay in the hotel another night. I searched online found this and booked it!! All very straightforward and uncomplicated so no stress 😊 which was awesome as had sooooooo much stress already that day
