I travel for work a lot,often 1 night only. This is very expensive so i saw some deals on billabook and booked them. Paid for 3 different bookings and all was well. Then i got sick and needed to cancel. Cancellation went well, but i still haven't received a refund, even after 7 months. I contacted them multiple times through mail, never a reply. Contacted them through live chat, at any given point, there was no one online, even tho they stated that there would be one. Never got any reply. I did talk to my lawyers and if i do not get refunded, legal matters will be taken. So please! Do not book on billabook, because they do not answer at all.

I booked a room which went through OK and paid for. But due to work I had to cancel my booking, I clicked on the Cancel Booking button but it came back as failed and to contact them via email which I did. I had no reply so I tried cancelling again and got the same result. I tried the online chat which said it was out of hours but leave a message and we'll get back to you (it had auto-filled my email address so it knew who I was) which I did - still no reply after 2 attempts at that! It's been 4 days now and passed my free cancellation date. I contacted the hotel directly and they confirmed the booking but not that it is cancelled and said they could not do anything, just to keep trying Billabook. Update: I did eventually get my money back OK but it took 3 weeks, this was apparently due to international money exchanges, they also apologised for any inconvenience caused.
