Updated : i booked a hotel @ ile maurice for 1/3 of the price on booking. I was a bit hesitant because it seemed to good to be true... The payment went through, but I did not receive an confirmation, not via the website and neither via email. An hour of so after though, I received an confirmation from billabook. The next day I called the hotel and they confirmed our booking !

This is a scam. They will take your money and send you a fake confirmation. There will be no phone number, only an email customer service. When you show up and there is no actual booking and try to reach out, they will keep asking YOU for documents and proof that there was no actual booking. All via email so they can keep running the scam without accountability and show the credit card company that they are attempting to resolve.

We strongly disagree with this claim. Billabook is a legitimate travel platform that has been operating for many years. All reservations made through Billabook are fully confirmed and guaranteed, and there has not been a single case in which a reservation was not honored or appropriately resolved. Unfortunately, Trustpilot shows that this reviewer did not provide any information about their experience, so we have been unable to verify the booking or address the issue directly. That said, it is important to note that in very rare cases when a client reports a payment issue, it is standard protocol to request a receipt or proof of payment, as the amount is often held by the hotel until the issue is resolved. We are always happy to investigate and resolve any issue promptly and invite the reviewer to contact us directly with their booking details so we can assist and resolve the matter immediately.

It was a very bad experience. I tried to use this website to make a reservation. The credit card was deducted, but I didn't receive any messages and emails. The contact website staff did not reply.

I booked a hotel with Billabook which had many quality issues (one of them being close to major airport with no soundproofing) I couldn’t sleep at all the first night and decided to leave. Billabook wouldn’t assist with recovering unused nights and I ended up loosing 600+$. Recommend to use Booking.com instead, from my past experience they handle better this issues.

I booked with them and I arrived to the hotel and I had no booking, they took hours to reply my emails. Their contact page only has a chat that does not allow to send messages, no phone nothing. The good thing, they reimbursed me back the full amount in the same day
