My counselor was amazing, BetterHelp itself is a nightmare. My counselor and I had frequent technical issues (her being unable to log in or start a video call, frequent audio from another source playing in the background (it sounded like a radio show?)). She missed a session on 8/14 due to technical issues and hasn't been able to log on to respond to me since. When I reached out to support with this information to see if they could help, they implied I was upset because I hadn't communicated my expectations for frequency of contact, suggested I contact another counselor, and told me they couldn't confirm she was having technical issues for me, I should just message her via the platform to contact support. For a customer service team dealing with people who could be having a crises and unable to contact the counselor they'd been working with, that is an unacceptable response.

BetterHelp is a great service for all your therapy needs! At first I was hesitant because I’ve never had therapy before, and online therapy seemed even more difficult. Fortunately everything worked out great! I’m grateful that I made the choice to use Betterhelp and I definitely plan to continue using their services.

I have loved my experience with betterhelp. My information has all been kept confidential, and I was quickly matched with a counselor that met my preferences. My counselor has been very attentive and easily available.

I used Betterhelp.com for a couple months but didn't connect with my initial counselor. I was placed with a different one and oh my goodness Lori is it! She is a compassionate listener and really challenges my thought processes in a gentle, confident way. She knows her work very well. We video once a week and I can message her through the site when necessary. I have done that several times over the few months we have been working together and she returns a well thought-out message within about 24 hours. I think the cost is less than seeing an in-person therapist, especially if you factor in the messaging services.

I have hot felt this good in years! In just a couple weeks I have been more hopeful on my outlook on life and more confident in myself! Finally feeling like someone is actively listening and not just getting a generic counseling sessions. Being ablento reach out anytime is the icing on the cake!! I look forward to my weekly video session as well as the different group sessions during the week. This is truly the best experience I have ever had!

I cancelled my subscription because I didn't realise that they only matched American councillors. Didn't use it at all. Emailed about a refund, no reply. Went to log in and they've deleted my account, despite me still having paid for a month at this point. Also raised a dispute through Paypal to try and get my £140 back.

My counselor is super nice and respectful she has helped me find good solutions to my issues. The only thing is she does take a day or two to respond

BetterHelp is an amazing app where you can find someone competent to talk to in the way you feel the most comfortable to (by text, by phone, by video). Whenever i need to share thoughts with my counselor i can and we meet on video one time a week. The support i get its the exact support i needed. The price is also very good for what you get. I recommand it for anyone. Its also less demanding for you knowing you dont have to go somewhere to obtain help and support. You can stay comfortably at home and have someone to listen to you. The concept is great.
