Einen Witz vor dem Herrn. Absolut unseriös. Man wird über LinkedIn und dann über die Klinik, in der man tätig ist, angeschrieben, wohl gemerkt als Psychologe (wohl gemerkt auch im BDP und im Verband psychologischer Psychotherapeuten) und dann soll man einen ellenlangen Vertrag unterschreiben und bekommt dann bei Rückfragen keine Rückmeldung und final dann die Rückmeldung: Es passe nicht, man wäre unterqualifiziert. Und das als Klinischer Psychologd in einer Psychatrie mit zwei Fremdsprachen und jahrelange Erfahrung und Tätigkeit als Wissenschaftler für das Kultusministerium. Noch Fragen? Und warum ist man eigentlich quasi unter qualifiziert? Weil dort nur oberflächliches angesprochen werden darf, auf der Plattform und das diagnostizieren von Krankheiten und deren Behandlung in Deutschland nur per Approbation zugelassen sind! Die bei Better Help tätigen haben aber dieser Proportion nicht. Deswegen werden Patienten, die wohlwollend als so genannte „Klienten“ bezeichnet werden, gerne ganz schnell bei offensichtlich störungs- oder Krankheits-Wert an örtlich zugelassene, approbierte Psychotherapeuten verwiesen. Eine Scam–Firma, die sich nun auch in Deutschland und Europa breitmacht. Braucht kein Mensch. Denn wenn man Hilfe braucht, ist man dort auf jeden Fall nicht richtig! Würde ich wohl in die Karten schauen gucken und aus dem Kaffeesatz lesen, wäre ich wahrscheinlich willkommen. Aber als klinischer Psychologe einer Aufnahme in einer Psychatrie bin ich dort unerwünscht.

For over 50 years my lack of ability to remember people's names has made me stay away from events that include interaction. The fact is that remembering names was not my only issue. Frequently forgetting the right descriptive word or action has stopped me cold. I read and email for Better Help and followed up on it. Very slowly with the help of my therapist is being resolved at an affordable price.

Por alguna razón algunos comentarios con una estrella o dos no aparecen. LLevo un año y medio pagando 200 euros mensuales por algo que no he suscrito y por un servicio que no me han prestado. Es decir, ahora necesito terapia para asumir que me faltaba dinero todos los meses durante tanto tiempo, estando ellos en USA y yo en españa.

Trustable, very convenient app that helped me find peace and trust in myself

I choose this as an option for counselling rather than the unaffordable or lengthy wait list of face to face option. Online also suited my availability. 7months, weekly I did & it was terribly useless. I ended up cancelling my subscription as I realised it wasn’t progressing me in any way, can’t really think of any discussions we had that weren’t surface level & ultimately felt I was just filling up my counsellor’s day before they moved onto the next appt. Really not a solution just Prittstick on a wheel nut that’s about to fall off

BetterHelp is a great resource for those in a smaller town that might not have proper guidance for certain demographics and/or a large quantity of Therapists. The login process could be a bit more streamlined though; having to login in with a code sent to my phone every time I try to access BetterHelp is a bit stressful, and adds to the anxiety of trying to access help.
