The convenience, easy access, and affordability makes all the difference. I hated every therapist I had talk to prior, as well as the process of finding one that actually helped me so I gave up Upon trying better help they made me take a survey to help find a therapist that fit my beliefs and my struggles and it made all the difference. As well as being able to video chat in the comfort of my own home giving me the feeling of security and ease of being myself. I it also has other tools such as a journal that is for yourself and the option of group therapy that helps as well. I would recommend BetterHelp to anyone. BetterHelp provides both one-on-one and group therapy which has been very helpful. The classes are great, too. I've taken some of them many times and there's something new every time.

Terrible. I was paired with a therapist that did not have experience with depression/anxiety. The age difference appeared to be a large gap. Second therapist brushed me off and suggested I try some intense specialized methods that a specific therapist practices, not anything betterhelp provides, and very expensive. Third therapist left it up to me to initiate conversations, no guidance. And simply send me "worksheets" to fill out vs having a discussion. Such a defeating experience.

I would heavily advised to do some research before using this system. I have nothing against my therapist but my sessions are not worth the price that was given to me. I had paused my account over the Xmas period and you would think it would stay paused until I was ready to resume the payments and carry on but no, I had been charged and my account was unpaused without me knowing. The system doesn’t benefit me anyway or make me feel better, just a waste of time so please do some research people.

Great therapist, opportunity to join group sessions. Informative, interesting and helpful classes on various topics. Quick emails responses and solutions. Nice email and a free gift from the co-founder of betterhelp.

They gave me my choice of therapist and allowed me to change if neccessary. I was able to find a therapist that worked for me and able to recover.

Better help provides excellent alternatives to in person meetings and gives you the opportunity to schedule appointments at your convenience and also offers offers a variety of group sessions which have a lot of significance to many different types of people

I started off having a positive experience with betterhelp until I wanted to pause my membership due to financial reasons. I had 3 sessions pre booked that were cancelled with no communication after i had paused my membership, even though these were technically sessions i had already paid for the previous month. At this point i had paid £304 over 2 months and only had 4 sessions. I then only received one email (which went to my junk) so i didn't receive it, to say my membership was starting again and a further £160 was taken from my account when i would like to cancel my membership please. I would really appreciate somebody from the company contact me regarding this situation please.
