I was skeptical about the idea of online therapy, but given my current circumstance of being in a significant health battle… this has been a great option. Highly recommend.

The service is useful and convenient. However for anyone considering joining, be aware as the subscription more or less forces you to schedule one session every week. Otherwise you lose out on a session you have effectively paid for. There is no other flexibility. The down side is that if you cannot maintain that regular weekly schedule or would prefer greater flexibility, you pay for a weekly session whether you use it or not. For me it is a great example of cynical and predatory Silicon Valley thinking. It is a policy that I'm sure makes perfect sense to the CEO and staff of BH. But, if you are unable to attend/schedule a weekly appointment for some reason, the funds from your subscription go straight to BH... not to you, not to your therapist. BH gets paid. Everyone else loses out. To them it makes perfect sense.

Betterhelp is great! You take a short survey so they can match you up with a therapist that fits you best. You get to choose a video or phone call session every week at a time that fits you best for half the price of a in-person therapy session. But that's just the beginning, you also get unlimited group sessions and classes all included in that price. The therapists are well educated, professional, and great at what they do. I can't thank Betterhelp enough.

I have used BetterHelp twice to help me with anxiety and depression. My family physician recommended I would benefit from therapy. I am self-employed and have a busy schedule with irregular hours. I needed to find a therapist that I could see right away and that I could see conveniently--from home, from my phone, from my vehicle, from anywhere. BetterHelp gave me a list of therapists that fit my personal needs. I was able to select a therapist on my own that I thought was the best match. I am happy to report that I found an excellent therapist. In three months of regular therapy I've made more progress than I have in years. Both of my anxiety and depression are greatly diminished. Not only has my work improved so has my home life. I am enjoying life again. I needed help that was easy to find, easy to use, and actually worked. BetterHelp delivered on all three. Thank you.

Disgusting therapists, used 2 different therapist both completely useless and hugely incompetent, one of them even insulted me. I raised the issue with better help. They did nothing about it, just posted message under the review to make believe issue is being looked at. Every time I see adds of better help I am reminded what a useless incompetent scammers they are.

My experience with a counselor on Betterhelp has been outstanding. I look forward to my weekly appointments online that have helped me gather more personal emotional strength and resilience. I realize I am on personal journey of growth & awareness.
