I was about to place an order for over $200.00 during their “candle event”. You can’t do pick up in store until the last day of the event. At that time, half of the items aren’t available for store pick up. I refuse to pay for shipping when purchasing over $200.00 in merchandise. Their reasoning is that you are “saving” so much on the candles. Well, I stumbled upon Yankee Candle & Goose Creek Candle Events. They have a better variety of scents, lower prices, and free shipping! Score! I won’t be going back to Bath & Body Works. Good call Bath & Body. It makes great business sense to lose a $200.00 sale over a $6.99 shipping charge.

I told the lady that the bag was going to rip because she filled it too full and she said no the bags are strong and it would hold and guess what it riped. So I had to go to JCPenneys and buy stronger bags.

I order 21 products through Bath and body Works online sale. They were five dollars apiece. I spent a little over $100. I just received my order today and when I tell you, I barely got what I ordered. I am not exaggerating. I have 80% of the products that are damaged. I got three of the things I ordered for and that’s it. I got two wallflowers which I never ordered at all. I don’t even have the things to plug them into I got a lotion that was open and squeezed out and everything else was broken or something I didn’t order when I contacted customer care. They said that it was handed off to a freight, forwarding company or something. I don’t even know what that means and they said they’re not responsible anymore. All I did was place an order through them and this is what I’m getting completely ripped off. I do not recommend them and I will not shop there anymore. Mind you. These were some of my stocking stuffers for people for Christmas and I don’t make a lot of money.

I place ordered online ,6pcs of wallflowers and everything went thru my cart it says on stock ,, after 2 days guess what they were sent me 1pc.they said that unavailable item, what service online they have very poor I will rate this zero services ...NO ASSURANCE if you can get the full item that you ordered..👎👎

On Black Friday I placed an order using the online promotion (buy 3, get 4 for free). They shipped 5 to my house and sent the other 2 for pickup at a store that 's 2 hours away from me. They were all supposed to come to my house. I then called customer service, and used the chat as well. I tried for a week and was unable to reach ANYONE who has a brain. They were unable to understand that it was impossible for them to honor the promotion because 2 of the 7 candles are sitting at a store where I'm unable to get them. The only way for me to get a full refund is to return the 5 that are on the way (which they should be paying for). Then I'd get a full refund for the error THEY made in getting them to me. The best I can hope for now is 'is buy 3 get 2 for free' which is NOT what I was promised. Worst experience ever. It almost seemed like their customer service is staffed offshore. I will absolutely never revisit this store ever again. I've always gone into the store to buy but I won't be doing that anymore either. Shockingly bad service.

Have been a long time customer of Bath and Body and for the most part have been happy but this last order was a nightmare. I ordered it on 11 2725 and it was for order three get four free, while I received my three wallflower nightlight plugs I ordered I did not get the four free. I attempted first to talk with Customer Care via text and after a lot of holding and back-and-forth she told me there was nothing she (Clara) could do because I should have ordered seven items and that I would’ve seen that I got four of them free it’s very deceptive advertising. It’s not clearly stated. I attempted to call the next morning to talk with somebody in person (Emily). Needless to say that person I think I got her out of bed. She finally got back on the phone. Got all my details and asked me to hold. Kept me on hold for 30 minutes and then disconnected me. I called back got another agent (Sophia). She kept me on hold after getting all of my information again and asking her to do me a favor and call me back if we get disconnected when she got back she said there was nothing she could do for me either that I should have entered all seven items to get four of them free And again there was nothing she could do for me and she hung up on me. There is no excuse for poor customer service. I’ve been a longtime customer and they should’ve made this right. I am a very disappointed customer.

I have two rewards (@$18.95) in my “wallet.” I recently made a rather large purchase on three wick candles and wallflowers. I had not heard that when the rewards increased to the $18.95 they excluded all “accessories” from the rewards rules! I had selected a $16.95 plug in for one of my $18.95 rewards and was told at the register about the new rules! When I asked about what I could get for my rewards I was told any full priced item (not on sale), that did not exceed the $18.95. It’s Christmas! Most items are on some kind of sale or promotion! Room sprays were not on sale and I was told I could get ONE of those. I refused to redeem my rewards for an eight dollar item! The sales clerk was condescending in her attitude, and said I was free to find something else in the store. No recommendations, nothing! Most of the scents in BBW are too sweet for me. In my opinion rewards are a joke if you can’t use them for items you want or would use, then they are worthless. But, hey I guess an $8 room sprays for $18.95 is a steal! Right?

I don’t typically write reviews. I think I should take time to write them when I am pleased with a company/purchase and I shouldn’t make it a habit to write poor reviews unless I am also taking the time to write positive reviews for my positive experiences. However, I am so frustrated with my experience with Bath and Body Works that I needed to come here to show my disdain. I placed an order on November 26th. I ordered 12 items. I received an email that my full order was delivered. I checked to see if I had other emails that broke my order into separate tracking numbers, but no such luck. When I clicked the tracking information next to each item, it said it was delivered on June 9th to Brooklyn, NY (I live in Ohio). I tried to get on the support chat multiple times and was left waiting. I finally got through to someone and they said that I would be getting replacement items. I told them I didn’t need the 3 I had, but that I would like the 9 I never received. They acted like they were doing me a favor by saying I would receive them free of charge. They weren’t free of charge, I already paid for them. Then I got the email with that tracking information and it only had 4 items in it, meaning 5 of my items weren’t being sent. I reached out again and was on hold in chat behind 168 people. When I finally got through to “Bruce” he was of no help. He kept saying he would respond in 1-2 minutes (more like 10-15) and then ASAP. Every time he finally returned to the chat he would say “are you still there?” As if I was the one keeping him waiting. He said that my replacement items were sent and that I was reimbursed for the items not included in the replacement. I just wanted the stuff I ordered in the first place! That’s the reason I placed the order. Then Bruce told me not to reach out until the appropriate amount of time had passed, as if I am supposed to know what that means. I am so done with this place and will never shop there again.
