This is the WORST customer NON-service…
This is the WORST customer NON-service I have ever experienced! They are horrible. I tried to place an order on their website and it said there was a problem with my security code. Therefore, I had every reason to think the order did not go through. So I tried again and the order went through. The next day I saw on my credit card that I had two charges from this store. I called right away to cancel the 2nd charge and the rep confirmed my cancellation. Today I called and tried very hard to be nice while I explained six times that I did not think the first transaction went through, because of the problem with my card's security code. I explained that I called the next day to cancel the second order, which was confirmed, but was told today there was no record of the call. TWO SCREW UPS! One on the website and one with the phone rep. The first rep I talked to today listened to me and tried to help. Then she transferred me to a supervisor who had no business being a supervisor or being anywhere near a human being. She was surly and, I'm sorry, but, very bitchy. She didn't even try to help me. She just kept repeating the policy in her arrogant, screw-you voice. She said I was sent an email confirmation of my orders, but they had my old email on file. I explained that on the order I put my current email. That they sent the confirmations to the wrong email instead of checking the order was their THIRD MISTAKE. I kept saying I understood it was a busy time of year, but three screw-ups was not acceptable. I said that my policy was if I was sent something clearly by the store's mistake, I shouldn't have to do anything. They should send a UPS driver to pick the order up at no cost to me. She was so incompetent that she didn't even offer to send me a pre-paid shipping label, so I could at least drop the package off at a UPS store. All these mistakes were disruptive, inconvenient, and highly lacked any customers service. However, the mistakes were nothing compared to the disrespectful, smart-ass words and tonality of the "supervisor." I will be sending this rating to corporate and hopefully they will correct the situation by either sending Veronica (?), to the accounting department where she won't be around customers, or put her in a serious customer service training course. I had to tell her that a rep should not ever say "can't" or "no" to a customer. Instead, the rep should always say, "I'll see what I can do." This is basic PR. That way if nothing can be done to fix the situation, at least the customer knows the rep tried. This depletes much of the anger. My anger was very so intense after I spoke to this incompetent, non-caring girl who would be the first to yell if she was treated this way. Do NOT shop at Bath & Body works unless you want your body and mind to be worked in a very stressful, frustrating way. Take care of yourself and don't ever shop at this dreadful, repulsive store.
