I always shop at the Bath & Body Works at the American Dream mall ( parking is super convenient). I went early morning and here was what I experienced. I approached a young lady and asked where the $ 40 boxes were as I wanted to get my other stuff and leave. Her answer " you need to buy something", pretty rude. she then asked again "are you buying something" I was stunned and the only words that I could come up with is "yes am about to spend about $ 300.00 at your store". After I said that I was embarassed because I felt like I was boasting, which I hate. I just thought the level of bluntness was shocking. Bath & Body please teach your employees correct engagement/selling skills because I think they have none and really need it. There are many ways that she could have said this and not sounded like she was putting someone down. Let me paraphrase how this could have been better communicated, " Miss the $ 40.0 dollar special boxes are behind the register and once you make your purchase of $ 40.00 or more someone would be more than happy to hand you a box and add it to your purchase", or at least something along that line.

The last several times I have ordered for home delivery items come is bad shape. But the last time two of the sanitizer sprays came empty and the box was wet, the sweater weather foam soap pump was broken and the wallflower was cracked. They never use packaging materials and literally just throws every thing in a box and tape it up. Ver disappointing.

Went to Augusta Ga location today. False advertising sign . Buy 3 get 3 Free. Well, that’s a lie! They prorate each product you are paying for all 6! Stay away and girl at register couldn’t explain it had to get manager. Manager said in case you bring an item back you get a little something back that’s because You paid for it Already!! Dirty Business Practice, doubled price of item to get original price on all items!

Worst customer service in store for online pickup, from the so called manager! Haywood Mall, Greenville SC! Also, online support is a joke.

Unless you plan on placing a huge order buying online from them is totally pointless and a waste of money because if you go on there only wanting to order a couple of things the shipping and handling fee will at best end up costing just as much as the actual items and at worst will cost more then the actual items (and keep in mind that's for the slowest shipping option available, you don't wanna know the costs for shipping options that'll actually get to you this century). And the funniest thing is before at least they'd give free shipping if you purchased so much or had free shipping coupons but now they don't offer free shipping at all and will only offer a microscopically small discount on the shipping if you purchase so much or with a coupon and once again that's for the slowest shipping option available. I love their products but what a joke.

Most awful customer care -either phone or chat!!! I have to call 4 times to fix the charges and they could not do it right. On my 4th call, i canceled everything! I can’t spend 2hrs on the phone with them on my vacation!

I order about 6 of the three wick candles for birthday presents they never came so I had to keep calling and complaining and when they finally decided to reship my order most of the candles I ordered were out of stock I couldn't get what people had picked out......

I've been using Bath and Body for years now. Recently, the quality of body lotions for men has declined. I thought this was just me, or my body's chemistry had changed and it wasn't reacting well to the lotions. People started asking me what I was wearing because I smelled strange, and family members who use the lotions found that as soon as they applied it to themselves, they too could not smell it, or it didn't smell great... So, I went and used some old lotions from Bath and Body that I had found, and their smell lasted all day. Whereas with these new lotions, as soon as you apply them, the smell goes away. I get that the company wants to go more skin-friendly or whatever, but it's really killing the quality of the products. Maybe it's the specific smell I'm using (bourbon) or something else? And don't get me wrong, I love these guys, I've been a fan for years like I said, so I just want to smell the good old days of Bath and Body!
