We deeply regret that you were not satisfied with your recent experience, which is why our supervisor reached out to you the following day to see how we could accommodate you for the inconvenience. Just to clarify, when a return is initiated on our site, the customer has the option to select if they would like their refund issued as a credit to their original form of payment, or in the form of a voucher for future use. In the instance that an option is selected by accident, we can always reverse that, and have no problem doing so. Upon review of your order, I do see that your voucher was reversed to a refund as per your request. We have been dealing with extremely high call volumes during the current pandemic situation - otherwise we would have been able to process that request within just one business day, but in this case it did take a few days due to increased demand. Again, we sincerely apologize for any issue that occurred with your recent order, and we do hope that you will reconsider and return to shop with us again in the future.

We are so sorry to hear that you were not satisfied with the items you had received. We would have been happy to assist you with any merchandise that did not meet or exceed your expectations, and wanted to reach out to you personally to try to accommodate you, but I do not see any order for you in our system, nor do we have any correspondence that was received from you, so I'm not sure if you posted your review for the correct retailer. As far as sewing defects, all of the garments that we sell come directly from the manufacturer, but if defects are called to our attention, we promptly facilitate communication with the brand representative that produced that item so that we can ensure our customer receives a replacement in perfect condition. Our Customer Service Team does promptly respond to all inquiries in the order they are received and maintains a quicker response time than most retailers in the industry. We post ALL reviews - whether they are positive or negative - that our customers share on the corresponding product pages, with the exception of any reviews that contain profanity. As far as sustainability efforts, we recently launched an initiative for precisely this reason and ceased including any paperwork with outbound shipments so as to reduce paper waste. This way, only those who need to make a return will need to print out one sheet of paper to enclose so we know what items are being returned, and the other printed page is merely a return label, which also helped us pass along cost savings to our customers since we do not have to pay for printed return labels for every parcel. In the event that a customer receives a defective item, we recommend contacting our Customer Service Team so that we can assist with courtesy returns, since we stand behind our merchandise and would not want a customer to incur return shipping cost for a defective item. We hope that if you do shop with Bare Necessities again in the future, that we will have the opportunity to assist you so that we can provide you with the outstanding level of service we strive to deliver to each and every customer who shops on our site.
