The size is too small and it is impossible for months now to get a reply from Altra about how to return the shoes. On the website it is not possible to generate a return form. Altra does not pick up the phone and does not reply to emails. The sizing of Altra shoes is smaller than with other brands, my usual US size 10 does not fit me with Altra shoes. On their website their is no metion about that so I assumed size US10 would fit me. Overall a very bad experience, never again I will order here.

These are Some of the most comfortable shoes I’ve ever worn. Great for wide feet/toe bed. However shockingly poor durability and customer service by Australian standards. I have a pair of $280 lone peak hiking trail runners and these lasted 6 months before coming apart at the sides on both feet . Customer service was responsive but as most of these reviews note , refused to replace the shoes under warranty . Called it ‘wear and tear’. The waterproofing also lasted one month. Expect them to last 3 months with heavy use or 6 months with moderate use.

I bought two pairs of Altra Riviera shoes, I use them solely indoors at an office. After only seven months of less than 100 miles walking, the soles started to delaminate. The retailer suggested super glue. Altra declared this to be normal wear and tear. I will not spend any money at the retailer or buy any Altra products again.

Purchased Altra ALOA7R78305 on 6 Aug, light use elliptical, light running, weightlifting. By early December forefoot fabric is pulled apart on both shoes. Company offers no refund or discount on future shoes. Would not buy or recommend

Bought Altra Escalante 3 shoe. After 3 months of light use (less than 10 miles) toe box collapsed, making shoe unusable. I have found other reviewers/ users who have had the same issue. Obvious design defect. Brand denies defect and claims wear and tear. They will not exchange, refund, or credit. Buy Altra shoes if you want to throw away your money.

horrible quality shoes but their phony warranty is worse. I have shoes less than 80 walking miles and the inside of the shoe ripped and has holes. They say it is not a warranty issue and I'm out of luck...... Don't buy their shoes there are other options for zero drop and better quality. It took me 4 pairs of crappy shoes to finally say enough is enough.

Ich hatte ein Paar ALTRA King MT2 gekauft. Vom Laufkomfort bin ich sehr beeindruckt: Sehr komfortabel insbesondere für die Zehen! Die Sohle ist von sehr guter Qualität (Hersteller: Vibram). Das Obermaterial und die Nähte sind jedoch von mangelnder Qualität. Das Meshmaterial bekam Risse und die Nähte haben sich teilweise aufgelöst, obwohl ich den Schuh gar nicht so häufig benutzt habe und auch nicht in extremen Verhältnissen getragen habe. Anspruch und Wirklichkeit klaffen hier auseinander. Der Support der Firma ALTRA, den ich dann angeschrieben habe und Fotos des Produkts geschickt habe, war nicht bereit, in irgendeiner Form eine Kompensation zu leisten. Daher bin ich von dem Produkt als auch von dem Kundenservice zutiefst enttäuscht. Daher würde ich - trotz der Vorzüge dieser Schuhe - vom Kauf abraten. Es gibt qualitativ deutlich bessere Schuhe!

Il faut savoir qu’en achetant sur le site Altra, les baskets viennent d’Italie. Et si vous souhaitez les renvoyer, les frais sont à votre charge. Ça m’a coûté 18€. J’achèterai ailleurs dorénavant !
