Bought a pair from their online store in the UK. Return #8000002005 Ordered the wrong size. Turns out you have to send them back to Italy as per their return policy. They have refused to pay the import duty TWICE, so I cannot return the item. Their customer service is terrible. It has cost me more than half the cost of the order to ship twice. It is my belief they try their hardest not to let you return their products so they do not have to issue a replacement or refund. AVOID THIS BRAND.

I have converted…Ultra shoes are the best fit for my feet personally! I am only super disappointed in the colors. The vibrant colors also helped me get excited about putting them on and hitting the trail. We all have struggles and every lil bit helps. Plz bring us some inspiring color pallet! Other than that…AMAZING SHOES!!!!

A pair of running shoes only 4 months old gets a hole in the fabric of the toe and they offer 50% off my next purchase because " this is the resolution we can offer for a minor issue like yours that may have been caused by wear." Poor quality, poor customer service. I won't be making use of the discount!

Although the concept of the shoes is good, the quality is very poor and the customer service is some of the worst I have ever encountered. I will never buy another pair of shoes from Altra.

Absolutely terrible customer service. FedEx delivered my package to the wrong address, this was confirmed with a photo. The company says they put in a request with Fed ex but Fed ex says they did not. I’m stuck in the middle, have spent over $300 on two pairs of shoes I don’t have. Both Altra and Fed Ex tell me there is nothing they can do. I have now taken the issue up with my bank. I have never had an issue like this not resolved by the company but they have been extremely unhelpful and not concerned about the consumer.

Shoes did not fit, returned. Three weeks later I received no contact and no refund. Called and was told company has a separate branch which handles refunds, and it takes a minimum of 3 weeks, and I should call back if I don't receive a refund. I posted a review which was rejected because it mentioned Zappos, which refunds you instantly (they sell Altra shoes). I still do not have a refund.

Had a problem with very thin soles that wore through to the underlying material after only 62 miles. Tried four times to get some sort of response from Altra - nothing. This was over four weeks (7 September-6 October), each of my messages was noted as being recieved. Like the shoes alot but not impressed with the parent company.

Ich kann nur vor den Kauf von Altra Schuhen warnen. Hatte mir Olympus 4 gekauft. Diese Schuhe sind von unsagbar schlechter Qualität. Laut, schwer, unflexibel, hart und haben im Zehenbereich eine Verstärkung, die sich anfühlt wie eine Stahlkappe. Ausserdem ist der Schuh außerordentlich schlecht verarbeitet. Meine Sicherheitsarbeitsschuhe sind flexibler als dieser sogenannte Trailrunningschuh. Noch schlimmer als der Schuh sind allerdings die Versandbedingungen über die man vor dem Kauf nicht informiert wird. Für ein kleines Paket werden schon einmal EUR 9,99 fällig. Die Rücksendekosten sind darin nicht eingeschlossen. Dafür werden je nach Versender noch einmal EUR 20- 50,-fällig, da die Retoure nach Italien gesendet werden muss. Auch dort wird erst über die Rückerstattung befunden. Da dieses Unternehmen aber als unseriös gilt, wird wohl niemand seinen Kaufpreis Rückerstattet bekommen, nicht einmal im Garantiefall. Bitte glaubt auch nicht den Werbelügen dieses Herstellers. Im Netz gibt es offizielle Testlisten, da ist Altra nicht erwähnt, zurecht. Leider bin ich auch erst nach den Kauf schlauer geworden. Der Kauf und Versand nach Deutschland gehört eigentlich verboten, da sich Altra nicht an EU-Regeln hält und Kunden über seine hausgemachte Abzocke aufklärt.
