My vet Waterbury Veterinary Hospital will not send scripts in directly. They give them to us at our visit when requested. Allivet will not take the script from my email. They claim it has to be from the vets office.
Response from AllivetJun 5, 2026
Hi Sonya, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. Pharmacy regulations require that we receive prescriptions either directly from the veterinarian or as an original written prescription. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept prescriptions that are forwarded by a customer via email. We have attempted to reach out to you, as we would appreciate the opportunity to discuss your experience and answer any questions you may have. Please give us a call at 877-583-1815 if you would like to speak with us further.

They are reliable in delivering fairly timely the meds and other supplies I needed when my cat was sick. Customer service people are very knowledgeable and if they don't know something they'll be happy to find out and get back to you if they can. Allivet has always made having my prescriptions filled from my vet very easy and uncomplicated, which I really appreciate because not all online companies react this way. They are competitive in their inventory, which is good when you need something that is not so common that your doctor prescribed for your pet. Five stars for sure.

Thank you for your trust and kind words. We're grateful to be your ally in pet care!
