It’s gross

Unless you never want a guest over again out of fear of embarrassment due to your disgusting couch, buy it! We purchased the kova sectional in January 2025. I picked the velvet fabric after ordering swatches. After a mildly difficult assembly that took several people, we immediately got rid of the boxes. Huge mistake. By the second or third day I realized the fabric attracts and hold any piece of lint, fuzz and fur. With two cats this was a problem. In order to even sit on this couch I need to spend an hour+ vacuuming with a special attachment. By the time I’m “done”, I am sweaty and angry. Cleaning it only lasts a day or two. I got in touch with costumer service (which was helpful), but was told I could not exchange without boxes. I asked if I could purchase boxes from them but was told no. It is basically impossible to purchase boxes anywhere that will fit. So now we are stuck with a couch that looks filthy all the time. Even after it is cleaned it just looks sloppy. Cue the panic when a friend or family member drops by on short notice. Will have to bite the bullet and buy a new couch because a year of owning this nightmare piece of furniture is too long.

Thank you for sharing your experience. We're really sorry to hear how frustrating this has been, especially after you were excited about your new Kova sectional. Velvet fabrics can sometimes attract lint and pet hair, and we completely understand how challenging that can be in a home with pets especially when we advertise the fabric as pet friendly! It’s also disappointing to hear that the return packaging situation left you feeling stuck — that’s definitely not the experience we want for our customers. We’d really appreciate the opportunity to look into this again and see if there’s anything we can do to help improve the situation. If you’re open to it, please reach out to our Customer Care Team at [email protected] and reference this review so we can review your options together. Thank you again for your feedback — it helps us continue improving both our products and our support experience.
