It has been nice flying with them before. But it is super annoying to get forced to look at the Multi Factor verification page each and every single time logging in to their website

One person at counter causing delays. Because of delay forced to divert to another airport and flight. Incredibly horrible service at multiple levels not only check in. They were rushing first class through but made no effort to speed up the process for us. Will never fly them again and definetly cancel my atmos card. Never again!

Worst experience of my life. A 4 hour flight path turned into 13. No one would help. Not gate agents, pilot, phone, chat bot, website. We missed 2 connections, they lost our bags. They were aggressively rude to panicked passengers. It was truly an embarrassment for the airline. Airports: PDX and DEN.

Awful experience getting stuck internationally due to a hurricane warning. Totally understand weather is out of their control, but how they dealt with it was atrocious. They would not confirm any stranded passengers unless you paid for a seat upgrade. So, there were a ton of people on standby. I was so nervous that I went to the airport the day before but they wouldn’t even let me check in. I have screenshots showing the rows and rows of empty seats they would not let me select but if I paid to upgrade my seat, I was able to. Completely left their passengers out to dry. I canceled my credit card as soon as I got home. Awful, awful, awful experience.

As an airline Gold member who travels frequently, I can honestly say that my experience with Alaska Airlines has been one of the most disappointing I have encountered. The level of arrogance displayed by staff was remarkable, combined with a complete lack of customer recognition and respect. Loyalty appears to mean very little. There was no sense of appreciation for frequent travelers, no proactive assistance, and no effort to deliver the service standards one would expect from a premium airline. What was most frustrating was not a single operational issue, but the overall attitude. Customer service felt indifferent, unprofessional, and at times dismissive. For an airline that promotes loyalty benefits, the actual experience fell far below expectations. I have flown with many airlines around the world, and I have rarely experienced such a low level of customer care and recognition. A disappointing experience from start to finish.

Paid $97 for seat upgrade, did NOT get seats I requested - one not even in an exit row, one requested aisle (w/ empty seat beside it, which was still empty) and got a window. Just tried to reach them, what a nightmare - saying 1-hour wait to get thru. Plus, see someone else here with same issue who was told ‘no refund’. Will be going to BBB with this one, unbelievable they can charge me for something and not provide it. Should have been AUTOMATIC refund when I didn’t get what I bought. Instead, having to spend SO MUCH TIME trying to reach them

It pains me to say this, but Alaska Airlines has joined the ranks of companies with broken customer care systems. In April, I was given three different answers from three different reps about a reservation change. Today, I was transfered and put on hold for an hour. No one ever answered. I'm an Alaska Gold Member. There is supposed to be a dedicated line for us. Four decades of loyalty doesn't mean mean much to them these days. It's telling that they now use dynamic pricing. If you look up a fare, they randomly increase the price if you look it up again. Make the customer think the price has gone up to force a quick purchase seems like the new approach. Log in an hour later and the price has gone back down. Any company that can rationalize this has strayed from their corporate values. There are too many other airlines doing it better these days to remain loyal.

Flying from LAX to CUN and upon boarding due to a full flight, as we got to the front of the line, staff started ripping bags and carry on from us in a flurry, naturally confused, we couldn't understand what was happening. They demanded we check out bags in, as they were worried about cabin room, the kids were scared and thought we were being robbed. It wasn't handled well at all. On the other side we had to come home, in CUN there were passengers refused boarding onto another flight all upset and arguing with staff at the baggage counter. As a result we waited in line for some time. We ended up getting to the front eventually and they told us that baggage drop had just closed and they could not help us, despite us sharing this concern with them whilst we were on line. On top of that they offered to put us on the same flight tomorrow, pretended to make the change to get rid of us, told us there was no confirmation except the code we had on our original booking. They were going home as it was 5.15 and wouldn't be back until 12.45pm the next day. We called support to confirm the change and were told no notes, nothing done, and the flight was full anyway. They wouldn't help or support us at all. Really appalling airline on all fronts. Fly with anyone else but Alaska air.
