Alaska Airlines offers remarkably poor service. Frequent, unexplained delays combined with an consistently discourteous crew make flying with them a frustrating experience. Easily one of the worst domestic carriers I’ve flown.

Older gentleman flight attendant should not be allowed to serve customers. Extremely rude! Do better Alaska!

This review is for using Atmos rewards…
This review is for using Atmos rewards points through Alaska Airlines. I wanted to use my points to book flights. I ended up buying extra points to cover the trip but during check out, they can't confirm seats availability. Looked at PAL and seats were available. Why can't they update their inventory?! What a useless site. I don't think you want me to use my points because I have almost 700k and I have not been successful using it! I have been loyal flying with you even though you're more expensive but I'll try to look at other rewards points.

All flights were grounded at 1pm but…
All flights were grounded at 1pm but were scheduled to leave Dallas at 3:30pm and then taxid FOR AN HOUR then we took off to San Diego. Then we couldn’t land for another hour in turbulent weather then our next flight was cancelled and because air traffic control grounded all flights we didn’t get a hotel voucher and we also didn’t get our luggage back. Now my rescheduled flights are through Portland (not direct) and it’s delayed and I might not get to Eugene bc I might want to miss my next flight!!!!!!!!! This is not acceptable.

Flight connections? Good luck!
The absolute worst. Not just flight delays, but entire itinerary upheaval because NOTHING runs on time. And not by a half hour here or there, but HOURS, to the point that connections are missed, overnights are required in random locations (without luggage, toiletries, etc), Alaska customer support does nothing to support passengers who are stuck in transit. I was told to see the gate agent, who was shouting at everybody that they were only dealing with passengers awaiting the next flight out, and the airport was completely closed down due to our flight being 7 HOURS LATE. This was just one delay among many on this trip. We missed an entire day of vacation on the way out and I was an entire day delayed in my return flight, missed work, had animals stranded. We all expect the occasional hiccup, but actual DAYS vanishing from your life as you sit around an airport because Alaska can't run a single flight within hours of its scheduled departure? Not ok. On my return extra day sitting in an airport, they wouldn't even issue food/beverage credit (at least on the way out, we had that). So I'd traveled on an overnight flight, expecting to arrive home mid-morning, but instead had to be rebooked that night and they wouldn't even offer airport credit to grab an overpriced coffee. Multiple people from our late arrival flight were going on the same connection, I sprinted across the airport, arrived just as they closed the door, and they wouldn't hang on for 5 minutes for all of us to arrive? It was THEIR fault that we were late, and this connection was already running 45 mins late (surprise surprise), so what's another 5 minutes instead of having to rebook and inconvenience all of us?? It made no sense not to hold the plane when they knew that we were all en route from their own delayed flight. Also, when a flight arrives, how about we give a quick, "Everybody remain seated until all connecting passengers have disembarked" message? And ENFORCE it! If you don't have a tight connection, please remain seated until we announce general disembarkation. Easy enough. All around horrible experience with Alaska on all but one flight out of 6 last trip. I got some travel credit -- that I will NOT be using because I'll pay whatever it costs to never fly this airline again. (PS I didn't even go into the fact that they changed my itinerary about 5 times before I traveled and had completely upended my trip, requiring my time and effort to get it all sorted out again, for what it was worth since nothing actually ran on schedule and I missed all of those flights anyway -- although I now understand why they were changing my 3 hour layovers to 8 hour layovers because maybe, just maybe, you'd actually make your connection).

Worst website and app
The website and app are the worst among major US carriers. It is far from user friendly and frustrating to say the least, especially is you are under a group reservation.
You cannot check in online or through the app. I keep getting an error message stating that my reservation, using either the confirmation code or the individualized eticket number, cannot be viewed.
Moreover, even though my KTN # for TSA precheck is already in the system, it still won’t generate a boarding pass marked with the TSA precheck mark.
Do better @alaskaairlines. Your app and website is far and away the worse I have ever used.

Missing luggage and no assistance at the Fresno airport
I arrived on Alaska Airlines flight AS3051, but my checked bag did not arrive. When I tried to get help at the airport, no one was available to assist me or explain where my luggage was.
A delayed bag is frustrating enough. Being left without assistance or clear instructions makes the situation worse. I expected Alaska Airlines to provide a way to report the missing bag, receive updates, and arrange its return. This has been a very disappointing customer-service experience
Alaska Airlines has No service at the Fresno Airport at 8 pm. Don't use them
