Absolutely the worst experience ever. So far flight has been delayed over 5hrs and gate has changed at least 3 times for myself. I've seen this airline change people's gate all morning. That would be the entire 5 hours I was delayed for my own flight. The only compensation that was offered was $12 meal voucher. You try your best not to get angry at the gate agents because it's truly not their fault but do better Alaska let's not tread into Spirit and Frontier territory. You used to highly rated

Flight was diverted
Flight was diverted, due to a combo of bad weather and pilots nearing the end of the legal flying hours. The end of legal flying hours and inability to supply a replacement pilot crew caused an overnight stay. Airline did pay for hotel and transport to and from the hotel . . .
. . . however, the seating with extra leg room that was paid for, was not provided on the next day's flight.

Easy to get ahold of customer service…
Easy to get ahold of customer service via text option or phone call. Accomodating to change flight and help get me to my final destination. Good communication.

Getting a receipt from Alaska Airlines…
Getting a receipt from Alaska Airlines is unbelievably difficult. For something as basic as documenting a business travel expense, customers should be able to log in, locate a completed trip, and download a complete receipt in seconds.
Instead, I’ve spent far too much time trying to track down documentation for a trip I already paid for and completed. This is a basic function that every airline serving business travelers should have figured out.
The actual travel experience was fine, but the post-travel customer experience is unnecessarily frustrating. I travel for work regularly, and having to chase down receipts is enough to make me consider another airline for future trips.
Alaska needs to make completed-trip receipts easy to locate and download from both the website and app. Customers should not have to waste time hunting for proof of a transaction Alaska already has in its system.

Flight #934 Seat #19-C Departed OGG 2:45pm to LAX:
Preflight at OGG- Misuki (desk clerk)
Asked Misuki if she could switch my seat to an aisle seat. She told me to come back to the desk, before boarding, and she would help me then. When I arrived at her desk, 25 minutes before boarding, she asked if I had the Alaskan Airlines app.
When I told her I didn’t, she rolled her eyes at me and typed aggressively on her keyboard. That’s not ,“helping me”.
Not very Aloha spirit!!!

Flight Attendant Steve or Stuart (oldest Flight Attendant on board, 58-68 years old), wears big glasses, salt n pepper hair, his name on his badge was hidden by a pen- seemed purposeful )- none of the other crew knew his name, it was obvious that the crew didn’t want to give it- bs.
When he asked if I wanted anything to drink- I asked for a coke w/ice.
In a condescending tone, he replied,”Of course we have ice”, and gave me two small ice cubes; which the warm Coke quickly dissolved. I also asked for a full can, and he said,” I’ll run out if I do, you’re welcome to come by the galley later. My seat was located at the front of the plane, which was only 75% -80% full.
After he left, I asked another attendant, serving the opposite side of me, and he obliged with a full can, and a full cup of ice. I also noticed the same accommodating attendant , running back and forth with more ice and cokes for everyone. Apparently the word must of gotten around to my old jerky Attendant, that I was asking for his name, which I never got, because he came back, less condescending and more ass kissing.
He walked by me and glanced down at my phone, while I was writing this review. What a rude mf. He then walked back, after seeing my typing. He then pleaded with me to take more coke and ice. I told him the other attendant did his job for him.
Later; What’s his face walked by, and purposely bumped me! My legs and shoulders were no where near the aisle. This guy is a true ASS!!
Next; What’s his face, walked up the aisle, asking people if they wanted water. He purposely turned his back to me, as he approached me. I had to raise my voice, and another passenger had to point to me; to make him turn around. The guy sitting next to me asked if he also could have some water, and What’s his face said,”I guess”.
Maybe Steve or Stuart or Stupid , should retire.
What A Horrible Experience!!
I’ve never had such bad service on an airline ever!!
I was polite but wanted to scream!!!

How does alaska claim to be so great…
How does alaska claim to be so great when they are more like Allegiant that any other airline on the market.
Carry on allowance, charge for everything and bait and switch seating. OH! WINDOW seat, that's a premium upgrade. Boo, Attitudes from staff, limited flights and over charge..the least you could do Alaska is smile and be welcoming.

SeaTac staff at gate n12 don’t care…
SeaTac staff at gate n12 don’t care about long term customers. They did try to help with an earlier flight and told us it’s our problem if we don’t want to fly Alaska anymore. Sad cause this has been a company we trusted for many years but it’s gone and it’s time to just fly the cheapest airline with equivalent customer service.

Nothing really good about
Nothing really good about it I took it for a trip from London to San Diego:
1.1 day before the flight they sent an email that there is no wifi in our aircraft
2. The departing flight was delayed 3 hrs and I knew the connecting flight I would not make it but they didn’t say that on the email , I called and chased them to finally ending up with paying for a hotel and then get a refund
3.On the airline I wanted to sit next to my kids after swapping they gave me 2 seats and 2 seats behind each other and when I objected they told me Either I take it or leave the aircraft.(you have ti oay extra to book seats and they didn’t assign seats for us together like most of the airlines do)
4.Worst of the worst I had an accident before my return flight and for them since my ticket is a saver no option for changing and no exceptional medical circumstances that they even consider the best I got was 50% cash points
I mean I never thought that there is an airline worse than Turkish but I will never ever book through them again
