I went to advance auto just to get new bleeder values for my Honda pilot They say online they have 6 to choose from I get there and ask she says they only have universal ones so I ask which ones for my car She gives me a pack and says these will work so I buy them and go back to install them and surprise surprise not even close so I take them back and she say I can not return then because I opened the pack I never even tried to install them I could tell they were way way too small So I tell her that she said they would fit and she said they should have she doesn't know why they didn't My car has the oem calipers on it so if she knew what she was talking about she would have given me the right ones Then she said maybe try these ones I laughed and walked out This is not my first problem with advance auto but the only reason I go back is they are the closest I just ordered them from Amazon half the price and I bet you they fit!!

On several occasions the advance auto parts from ponce in obispado street,failed to honor me there special prices and charged me the regular price.Called them and they told me it was my fault because it has happened before.Clearly you cannot trust this company and have to double check your transactions, and be aware in the way they are going to treat you.

Bought a 8.00 bulb for my jeep light. When installed bulb was blue instead of white light . Took back to the Turnersburg store to exchange for white light with no receipt. The young ladt looked up receipt by my phone number ,told me whoever did the transaction did not use my phone number. Would not let me exchange or refund the bulb. Here's the good part drove to O'reily, next door, who took back the Advance Auto bulb and gave me credit. I operate a bussiness with 160 employees and we meet on March 17th to discuss our customer service. I could not have bought better material for this meeting! I enjoy building and maintaining cars and probably spend 2-3 thousand per year with Advance, for the past 10 years or so . Guess who I will be buying from going forward. Thanks,James

I was traveling from fort Walton beach Florida.To lake city FL we're I live battery light comes on lights go out pull off I-10 I was at chipley Panama city exit stopped at shell station what to do everything was closed ask Google for auto parts store advance auto parts came up 1.2miles ordered alternator open at 8 Toby was there early check said it was ready brought it out and did More than expected great job thanks Toby hopefully no one else has that problem but if you are ever in the area in need of help he's Man

I would recommend (NOT) to purchase anything from this parts store!!!! The service was unprofessional and disrespectful.. AutoZone or Oreilly's will get my business. 75% of the time the part is wrong and and I have to take it back, my time running around trying to get the correct part becomes a hassle, so I recommend to not waste your time with this store....

With extremely cold temps for a few days in a row, my car finally decided not to start. A friend looked at it and said the battery is really old and needs replaced. In the meantime, a jumpstart and good cleaning got me up and running so I could get the battery replaced. We looked online together so I would have assistance choosing the best product for me; immediately we were looking at Advanced Auto Parts Website. Immediately I was impressed because it let me know what would and wouldn't work in my vehicle. The next evening I went to the store to make my purchase. The gentleman told me about a battery and I told him it didn't have enough cold cranking amps and told him which one I was looking at; he immediately obliged and said it was a really good battery but he didn't want me to think I was being taken advantage of by offering a more expensive battery...not something you see in a retailer very frequently! I asked about install and he said yes I will definitely take care of that for you. I also decided on some new wiper blades while I was there and once again he didn't try to sell the most expensive brand but when I said I need the best quality he pointed me to a more expensive product stating he didn't want me to think I was being taken advantage of. It was below freezing, spitting freezing rain and he installed both the battery and wiper blades with no complaints, and the battery wasn't the easiest feat! Definitely very customer friendly and above par service! Love this place and their customer service!! I visited the store on S Main in Bloomington IL on 1/8/22 but cannot remember the gentleman's name.

My son went to Advance instead of AutoZone and paid $14.99 for Prestone antifreeze that AutoZone had for $11.99! The same exact product $3.00 more? To me that's totally out of line. I will not be going to Advance Auto Parts again!

I went to the first store on 66th Street AutoZone they sold me a master cylinder for $161 but it was the wrong one so they told the store on 34th Street had one that's where I met Dan Moore and Felix K were very helpful he pulled three off the shelf in my micrometer so they found out if it would fit or not. They made sure they gave me the right one and I got $40 back they went above and beyond service and I wish every store had a Dan Moore or a Felix k very nice experience five stars with ease The store # is 4810 those guys sure know what they're doing
