Our Zline is under a recall, do not use may cause injury. We have a claim in. Thanksgiving no oven, Christmas no oven, New Years no oven. Was suppose to get a call back last week...nothing. Waiting on phone to only be hung up on after it I reached the number one spot on hold...this is ridiculous.

THE WORST APPLIANCES
In October 2022 we bought the ZLINE 48" gas range with dual ovens, a microwave drawer, dishwasher and refrigerator from Premium Home Source for $12,900. The appliances are absolute GARBAGE!!!! One of the ovens stopped working within one month. They sent a repair person to fix it. Then the microwave caught fire because the coating on a screw inside the microwave wore off (within 4 months) so it was exposed metal. There is a magnet holding the front panel up on the dishwasher and the magnet isn't strong enough so the panel just slides down as soon as you try to move it up. The fridge control panel stopped working causing us to not be able to see/change any temperatures for the freezer, fridge, and deli drawer and now the entire fridge/freezer has stopped cooling. Zline sent a replacement microwave but told us we were responsible for contacting an appliance company to fix the fridge. To spend this amount of money on appliances for them to be SO AWFUL is absolutely devastating.

Buyer beware!
Do not buy! I have a less-than-two-years old 36” ZLine dual-fuel range. The oven began to improperly heat a few months ago and completely failed last month. After checking different parts, I found that the lower bake element no longer works. When I unscrewed the element, I found that the wiring and connections had all melted. I am no oven engineer, but this seems pretty unsafe and like a design flaw. The warranty is only for a year on this range, and aware of this, I began to look for replacement parts. I did contact Zline to make them aware of my issue and they initially responded, but I have not heard back again. The part is sold out on the Zline parts website. When I first looked at the site, there were multiple reviews complaining about the same issue and the reviewers had been trying to secure the part for many weeks. I went on the site to check for the part again this morning and all of the reviews had been deleted. This does not seem like a practice of a reputable company. There are no generic parts for this range that I can find and there are no service people in my area that will work on the range (which is odd, since it’s a relatively-local-to-me company). A search of Reddit, Home Depot, and Lowe’s brings up similar complaints. This seems like an issue that would prompt a recall, but I cannot wait around for months without an oven, so I will likely have to purchase another oven and my $3000 is down the drain.

Just do not buy ZLINE
Horrific or rather non-existent customer service. Calling them is useless as it goes nowhere even if you're finally at #1 in the queue; it then hangs up. When emailing, it takes 2-5 days for them to respond. Then they argued warranty with me even though its still under the 1st year warranty. This is the 2nd dishwasher we had to order because 1st one didn't work at all, 2nd one broke after 9 months.

Complaint
Complaint - gas range leaks natural gas during operation causing family members sickness and imminent danger. Seeking resolution from company to repair or replace defective product.
1. Zline 36" gas range purchased from Lowes Home Center on 9/15/2022. Product leaked gas during first part of 2023 as identified by a handheld gas detector and family members experiencing headache, nausea and breathing difficulty due to presence of natural gas during gas range use.
2. Initial resolution after contacting Zline was a service call to Zline and in-home resultant product modification to lower gas range burner hood in oven. 3. Second resolution after contacting Zline due to continued gas leakage was a home service call to Zline and resultant product modification to upper gas range burner hood in oven.
4. Third resolution on 11/28/2023 was a request by Mrs. xxxx to Zline for a gas range replacement. At this time we found out the product was in manufacturer recall.
5. Zline responded with "Please confirm you would like our new SGR36 model...Unfortunately, the specific model you requested RG36 is out of stock and will not be coming back in stock." Replacement can take anywhere from 3 to 5 weeks and that the product should not be used.
6. 12/11/2023 Zline scheduled "Ryder Final Mile will be conducting the Deluxe Swap. Ryder will contact you at (xxxxxxxxx) to schedule the delivery & pick-up appointment; your reference # is xxxxxx."
7. The new gas range was delivered and connected on 12/29/2023. On 12/30/2023 gas leakage was detected again by gas sensor and sickness to household members.
8. On Dec 30, 2023, at 3:45 PM I contacted Zline ?continues to leak gas causing illness
9. As of 1/2/2023 no Zline response via cell, text or email.

Wish I’d have paid more attention to negative reviews
Regarding a 48” dual fuel range. Product is a 2/3 tops. Customer service seems well intentioned but will not respond to multiple emails and calls. Lower heating element died after 6 months of modest use. Was advised by the one rep I spoke with that the unit is out of warranty but they would send a replacement part for customer goodwill. Has been 3 weeks with no update to my continued requests.
Would not recommend this brand as I’m stuck with a half-functional unit. Case Number 00650736.
Update from 1/12: the customer service rep called to ensure I received the new element, and that it was working. I had to install it myself. While the problem was solved, I’m still overall disappointed with the purchase.

We completed a kitchen renovation in…
We completed a kitchen renovation in the summer of 2022 and purchased the zline RG30 gas range. It never worked properly (would take FOREVER to reach temp, and never cooked the food consistently). We were made aware of the recall to this unit in late December of 2022, and were initially told by zline that they would replace the malfunctioning part...that was causing carbon monoxide poisoning. No one ever contacted us to replace this part. This was after we attempted to contact them and schedule support.
We were blown off. Fast forward to a month ago and we were told they would replace the unit or buy the old one back at a prorated price. We assumed it was an identical unit from a footprint perspective, and decided that we cannot afford to repurchase a brand new gas range of this "attainable luxury" (especially if they were only giving us a portion of the cost back), so we opted for the replacement unit. We finally received the new unit yesterday afternoon. The people delivered it and as we were inspecting it, the oven door was flopping around because it was missing screws in the bottom of the door. The delivery folks took pics, but told us this was a manufacturer issue and we were to contact zline. We then notice that one of the oven racks is completely broken. So we have a floppy oven door, and only one usable rack inside. So when we attempt to put it into the opening (in our brand new renovated kitchen, with new quartz and cabinets)....lo and behold, it does not fit. We were not made aware that this unit is "slightly larger" than the old unit. Had we known this, we would have requested they take this piece of junk and would have gone the prorated refund route and eaten the cost to purchase a VIKING. We have been nonstop attempting to contact customer service via phone with no answer and no return calls. We sent an email listing the issues, and were basically told "sorry, but the issue is resolved from our perspective". So we are left contacting our contractor to pay to have our new kitchen modified to fit this piece of crap (that has one rack and an unusable door). Or eating the entire cost and buying an actual luxury brand. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS MANUFACTURER. Case number 00660712

DON'T DO IT!!!!
If you care about your ability to stay alive then stay away from ZLINE. We bought our stove in 2019 and have received recall notices in December 2022 and now again in December 2023. Both of them told us that we may have been exposed to CARBON MONOXIDE POISONING and to stop using our oven. Looking back we definitely experienced symptoms of mild CARBON MONOXIDE POISONING. We couldn’t figure out why some of us were so fatigued, or having headaches, fogginess of mind and or nausea. I just want ALLLLLLLLLL of my money back NOT the pro-rated refund ZLINE is offering. How dare they expose my family to toxic gases and then insult me with this pitiful excuse of a solution. They have the WORST customer service i have ever experienced, and im not exaggerating. After receiving the 2nd recall notice I called ZLINE and waited for 1hr, 21mins, 38 secs and still didn’t speak to a human. When i got the first one i called their customer support and no matter which option i selected the system hung up on me.
My intention is to print 1000 copies of the ZLINE recall notice and hand them out to Home Depot and Lowes customers who plan on buying appliances. I also plan on creating some signs and standing outside those stores until i feel satisfied.

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to write this review. The safety of our customers has been and always will be our first priority. We apologize for the inconvenience that this has caused for your household. If your range was already repaired, you have the option for an inspection, replacement, or prorated refund depending on the age of the range. The decision to offer a prorated refund takes into consideration several factors, all aimed at ensuring fairness and transparency in our resolution approach. A prorated refund takes into account the period of use of the recalled unit. We understand that a prorated refund may not fully meet the expectations of all our customers, but we assure you that it is a carefully considered decision that balances fairness and sustainability. If you have further questions or concerns regarding this voluntary product safety recall, please refer to our dedicated webpage at: www.zlinekitchen.com/recalls. We would like to hear more about your personal experience and have the chance to make this right. Unfortunately, with the limited information provided, our team cannot locate a case for you. If you could please reach out to us at zlinekitchen.com/contact and provide a copy of this review, a customer experience manager can assist. Thank you!
